We hired kayaks and equipment from share village and stayed one night at Smith's Strand in a well heated twin room at the beginning of May 2016. E-mail contact prior to our two-and-a-half-day trip was very informative and well done. There were no problems to get equipment in time and to return it properly not interfering with the "time table" of our ireland journey. The staff was friendly, competent and gave us proper information about the trip we were going to make. It was all "easy going", so we can recommend the Sharevillage institution to other people.

We stayed in one of the chalets for a long weekend. The chalet was well kitted out with everything you need for self catering. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There is a good range of activities for all age groups the kids loved the pool, wall climbing and t shirt making. Thanks for a great stay.

I've been here many times over the years as a customer. I live maybe 20/25 minutes away so it's pretty local. The services and activities available are beyond excellent. Family friendly, full disable access to almost all of the activities, and a hive of fun for the younger ones. Eventually I started as a volunteer also, love getting out to the water for canoeing, helping the staff with everything, it is a feel-good place.. even when the weather is against you! I would highly recommend this place to anyone of any ability or age :)

I have stayed twice August and Halloween in one of the chalets. Plenty to do for the kids. Halloween was fantastic all the different activities with fireworks at the end of the night. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Filled full of trepidation and fear i bundled the wife and kids into the car and set off for Newtownards on the 24th July, to be honest i didn't know what to expect, finally after 2hrs driving we pulled into the Share centre. Our first experience was going to be canoeing that afternoon after lunch. so we had decided to stay in one of the chalets, we checked in and headed over for lunch, WOW the food was amazing, i'll come back to the food later! we all headed down to get changed into our wetsuits... let the fun begin... little did we know it was amazing despite the weather, we paddled out against the wind i might add and landed on a small bank everybody got out not expecting what was about to happen. one of our guides Kieran got us all around in a circle to play a game whilst Aiden started a small fire and got the surprise ready. when the game was over Aiden handed us all a marshmallow on a stick so we could toast it over the fire and put it between 2 chocolate digestives, AMAZING, then we all got in the canoes and paddled back, first activity done piece of cake, OK back to the food all i can say is "Stupendous" enough said. so as the week went on the fun levels just got better and better, hopefully so did the fitness levels, so would i said i had a good time "NO" "I HAD AN AMAZING TIME" and so did the rest of the family, the staff and DI's in share were amazing the activities were fun filled times the food was delicious, the weather no so great but hey it's Northern Ireland so can't complain we were bound to get wet at some stage. All in all it was a fabulous holiday and we can't wait to go back. So a big Thank you to everyone at the Share Discovery Village, for an amazing time. From the Rollinsons
