We were staying at Mollie's Hut in Trudoxhill and the owner recommended this place.
We booked a table for two but met family there for drinks before hand.
It has nice modern décor which is very sympathetic to the church building. Do plan to arrive early though as parking in the area is very limited and on a one way street.

Getting drinks in the basement bar took a while as the bar is small and because it does a lot of popular cocktails, it can take a while to get served.

Once seated at our table it also took a while for our waitress to take our food and drinks orders.

Apart from this, the from is lovely, well presented and very tasty.

I had a pigeon starter and a hake main. My vegetarian wife had a ewes cheese starter and a ricotta gnudis. Lovely wine by the glass, good cocktails and puddings.

While some dishes some would consider expensive there are cheaper options such as pizza on the menu

This converted chapel is a must visit. The setting, food and service is all good. We went on a Sunday evening and it was not too busy. Relaxed atmosphere. We were staying just around the corner so on Monday morning we popped in to buy some freshly made pastries before we headed off. All yummy!

A the name would suggest it is set in a converted chapel right in the middle of this interesting village . It was very full at the time of our visit and we were pleased we had booked . Friendly ,knowledgeable staff . Small but balanced menu good grilled fish and the Pizza looked very good and although none of our party had them most of the diners were ordering them and I would too if it were not for the fact I had Pizza the day before .
very good wine list and good quality wine by the glass . Child friendly .
