My wife and I and another couple had lunch at Nat's Palm Grove during a recent visit to Anguilla. We always have lunch here when we visit the island (see my previous reviews), and the food was just as good as ever.
Since our last visit two years ago, Nat's has expanded (there's a deck with additional seating), and he now features live entertainment (I believe on Sundays only). During lunch, we were entertained by Nattie and the House, aka Natalie Richardson, who happens to be Nat's daughter. Nattie was awesome, and I think she has a very successful musical career ahead of her.
For lunch, we had our usual grilled fish filet (snapper this time) with johnny cakes, delicious as always. The rum punches weren't quite as good (or strong) this time as before, but we still enjoyed them. We got to spend some time chatting with Nat again, which is always a pleasure.
The expansion and music were nice additions to Nat's, but I hope he doesn't expand too much -- the "shack in the middle of nowhere" charm is one of the things we've always liked about Nat's. Nat's Palm Grove is still one of our favorite lunch experiences on Anguilla, and we'll be back the next time we visit the island.
