“Same great food as always, now with entertainment”

My wife and I and another couple had lunch at Nat's Palm Grove during a recent visit to Anguilla. We always have lunch here when we visit the island (see my previous reviews), and the food was just as good as ever.

Since our last visit two years ago, Nat's has expanded (there's a deck with additional seating), and he now features live entertainment (I believe on Sundays only). During lunch, we were entertained by Nattie and the House, aka Natalie Richardson, who happens to be Nat's daughter. Nattie was awesome, and I think she has a very successful musical career ahead of her.

For lunch, we had our usual grilled fish filet (snapper this time) with johnny cakes, delicious as always. The rum punches weren't quite as good (or strong) this time as before, but we still enjoyed them. We got to spend some time chatting with Nat again, which is always a pleasure.

The expansion and music were nice additions to Nat's, but I hope he doesn't expand too much -- the "shack in the middle of nowhere" charm is one of the things we've always liked about Nat's. Nat's Palm Grove is still one of our favorite lunch experiences on Anguilla, and we'll be back the next time we visit the island.

We waited probably an hour and half or more for our food. They were all sandwiches. We were there when he opened and ordered first thing. We knew it would take some time so we enjoyed the beach.

By the time food was ready (after having to ask) it was very disappointing. We didn't know the sandwiches came on Johnny Cakes. That would have been fine but that makes for a small sandwich for $20. We get the sandwiches and there is very little fish on the sand which and the fish had no flavor at all. Not sure why it took almost two hours for that. We saw someone else order the whole snapper and they seemed to enjoy it. I would probably go here again only for drinks, the beach and music on Sundays.

We were recommended to visit this out of the way beach. Wow , were we glad we went. The beach is secluded and usual quiet. Unspoilt and natural.

We ordered the fillet of fish with coleslaw and Jonny cakes - excellent. Nat runs a relaxed but efficient kitchen. A varied but selective menu. Beach eating that's tasty and great value for money.

This is a nice little restaurant tucked out of the way. The view from it is beautiful & the beach is very quiet. The food here is really good & reasonably priced. This is an excellent addition to your "must visit" in Anguilla.

Nat puts out a basic menu with ribs chicken fish. The food is great! A unique side dish were the Johnny cakes. We were a group of 12 and everyone enjoyed their choice. Bring you business card to post on the wall!
