Description: The Lime and the Coconut has been converted from a restaurant into a Live Music Lounge Bar. The name is still the same but people call it "the Lime" now. It has a great atmosphere that appeals to all sorts of people from everywhere, giving them a feeling of being a little more at home or some place they have been to before. We have bands playing all genres of music, from roots Reggae, to Jazz and Funk and then some good old Rock.

I can't rave enough about this cute little eatery! Delicious menu, everything looked so good. I started with the Mediterranean Medley of hummus, Moroccan carrot dip, and tzatziki with warm, fresh pita bread. All of them were incredible, but the tzatziki was my favorite. The menu has a great mix of German, Swiss, and Indian food. I highly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh.
The food will bring you here, but the great company will keep you there and coming back again and again! The owners, a lovely couple, are some of the most interesting and friendly people you will ever meet! We struck up a great conversation with them and they kindly kept the place open long after closing hours. I sincerely hope to meet them again in my travels. Anyway, definitely come here on your trip to Antigua, there are other great places to eat but the company can not be beat!

Owners are host and chef at this casual open air restaurat literally steps from Antigua Marina Yacht Club. Decor is charming, style is inventive- on- a tight- budget. Example, hanging light shades made of cooking parchment. One side of menu has curries and other Catribean fare. I can vouch for the excellent chicken curry, other styles lijke Rogan Josh also available. The homeade dips like Moroccan Carrot are healthy and tasty, with warmm whole wheat Pita. House yeast bread is also homemade with poppy seeds for some crunch. The back of menu reflects owners' Swiss and German heritage. Excellent chicken with mushrooms in a creamy sauce, Rosti is crisp and perfectly cooked. Spaetzle, other ethnic dishes too. I was in Antigua during a lull between boating events so both the host Lucas and the chef Jackie had some time to visit. They are transplanted banking executives who decided to follow their passions rather than the corporate track. Care and attention in all the details, including selection of the server, a lovely young woman with a desire to please and a mile wide smile.
True story: on one visit the owner somehow made an error on the credit card machine , but the system would not allow correction (Antigua phone service is not yet perfect.) So the owner walked a block and a half to the condo I had described as red and white, around 8:30 pm. He knocked on one or two doors til he found me, offered a cash refund on the spot and sincere apologies. Now that's service! With this attitude and wonderful chef skills, I sincerely hope The Lime and the Coconut prospers so I can visit there again, the sooner the better. Best two meals I had in one month on Antigua, includiing some bigger named places in the capitol area.

Excellent food, charming host, attentive service. We loved the shrimp & chicken dish with a light tomato sauce and the curry dishes. Located near a corner in English Harbour, you eat outdoors while watching the local life and nearby boats.
