The Lodge's setting is superb, with a garden going down to the water's edge and its own jetty. There is a cafe on site with friendly staff and good food. The establishment has its own water tank so does not suffer from interruptions to the mains water supply.
That said, for our party (3 adults) the room was really not big enough. (For 2 people it would probably be fine.) We decided to relocate after a couple of days; luckily Elizabeth was very understanding and did not insist on us paying for the full period we had booked.
