Needless to say that we were really looking forward for this vacation after the last 15 months of the Pandemic - and the experience was more than disappointing!
The pool and beach area is amazing. Not a question.
The rooms are clean and new.
The service was horrible. Staff members are very friendly and trying hard but just set up for failure from the poor management. Every single order takes forever and is in 80% missing something!
The food is poor - attached pictures of the ridiculously overpriced breakfast buffet for 45$… every cheap motel can offer better choices for 45$. The dinner menu has zero vegetarian or vegan options - no daily specials.
As a family with young kids, having dinner outside is not an option so we had to have dinner at BLT every night. Overpriced. Poor choices. Drinks are good. At least.
The St Regis is the only hotel that charges 75$/person for a mandatory Covid test…. Unbelievable!!! It took us 1/2 day to get tested in Hamilton with zero support from the hotel. VERY AWFUL EXPERIENCE. But paying almost 1000$ for covid tests was not an option!
We addressed all our daily complaints to every level of management and heard the word sorry way too often.
Housekeeping was a fair 50:50 chance to happen.
Zero toys for kids. Kids club not open because of Covid but even without Covid regulations there should be a few toys at least…
The hotel has opened way too early for what it is! Poorly equipped. Staff not trained enough.
Overpriced for what it is now.

My mother and I had a lovely stay at the St. Regis Bermuda. The food and service were excellent. Our server Liz was pleasant and provided some wonderful recommendations for the island that we enjoyed. The concierge, Cole, was also fabulous in assisting us with our needs. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful return to travel with my family. Having been home bound for the past year, like many, we weren’t sure what to expect from our first trip. We were pleasantly surprised and felt completely comfortable at the St Regis and in Bermuda. On property testing was super convenient and met local and US travel requirements.

Overall, the location is uniquely beautiful, the team is genuine, helpful and friendly, the food is spectacular, the view is breathtaking and the drinks are creative.

As a frequent Marriott resort traveler (Ritz, JW, etc), we used points for one room and paid for a second room. We received an upgrade to ocean view and larger room, which was fantastic. The sunrise was jaw dropping!

Beyond the physical beauty, the entire team was amazing. Just to name a few folks you’ll hopefully get a chance to meet.

- Frederico exceeded expectations with beach and pool service and beyond. He even arranged for a wedding caliber cake created by his colleague in the restaurant bakery on short notice for me to surprise my wife for her bday.

- if you’re not sure what you want to drink, Kazim does. He made multiple drinks perfect for the moment including a st Germaine spritz before golf and the newly minted kissed by an angel watching the sunset. He is very knowledgeable about the island, history and enjoyable to talk to.

-Mildred made us feel right at home at the St Regis bar and knew all 6 of our names instantly, recalling them throughout our 5 night stay.

- Kadir greeted us warmly and was a constant presence ensuring we had whatever we needed, even if that was just a smile.

-Cole and Joanna were extremely accessible and addressed any issues we had in a timely manner.

- Vanessa had our room impeccable upon check in and everyday.

-Arriek was very nice and helpful getting us set up for a round of golf, which my son and I enjoyed thoroughly. Note that the scenery is worth it, though course could use some time to mature.

Many other friendly and helpful faces at meals, pools and beach....

While it is true that there were some growing pains and not everything is 100% available yet, the team handled everything well and made appropriate accommodations.

Foodies and drinkies, and everyone else, are in for a treat. Additional options nearby to get some variety.

As with the remarkable sunrises enjoyed from our bed, we will forever remember our time together as a family. And look forward to a return trip in a few years as the potential of the resort will know doubt be realized.

It was the saddest hotel stay of my life. Ive been a member of Bonvoy/Westin/Marriott for years so its not easy to give a first review like this.
The property was clean BUT no service and they put us in a Handicap room next to the elevator. Not the way to treat a Platinum Elite member. I’d order a drink at the pool and it was always 50/50 if we even got the food or drink to show up. The staff felt super under prepared and very over their heads. The food was super expensive as well. Can you believe a 16 dollar kids pancake. Well it exists at St Regis in Bermuda. Add in a tip which of course they add on top. The staff was on island time which was not exceptable at a hotel at this level.

I hope they get their act together and the line up of high end customers that were angry is long. How can I come to a St. Regis and feel bad for the staff because they were understaffed and overwhelmed I don’t know but they made that happen. Everything was super slow.
Really bad experience.
