Well what can I say, that has not been said before in previous reviews. Simply Stunning & breathtaking. We arrived early for a pre dinner cocktail, and we walked around to take in the sorroundings and get some pics. I was worried about what to wear, but I think I got it right for me. We had the earlier sitting and it was the perfect time for us. We probably had the best table as it was front of rail and was on the corner so had views of the torch lit ocean from both angles, mainly tarpon in the water. The food was beautiful we had the lobster linguine to start and I had duck and my husband the Mahi Mahi, followed by popcorn ice cream. This is a real treat and eye wateringly expensive but what the hell you only live once, go all out and do it. You won't regret it!!

Look you kind of have to go as you wont beat the setting and its unique charm. Whilst the food and service is very good at about £200 a head you would kind of expect something a little extra . . Having said that we had a lovely evening and pleased that we booked a good table by the sea front. If you cant quite go for the full on experience go for cocktails upstairs at sun down . . You wont be disappointed

We ordered iced coffee it being too early for lunch. When it arrived it was just coffee and ice, apparantly we should have asked for frappe. The bartender took all our drinks after we had tasted them, poured them into one jug, whizzed them up with ice cream and re served. I leave it up to you to to decide if that was acceptable!

My wife and I have been visiting The Cliff restaurant at least once a year for the past 15 years . I have a summer birthday and have celebrated there on many occasions with parties of 10 + (family and friends). The Cliff was always a favourite and never disappointed despite being expensive .
This year we went on Saturday 3rd February ,just the 2 of us for dinner. We waited in the bar area as our table was not ready .Almost 30 minutes later we eventually were served a drink . Initially we were seated in the bar area on just about the furthest table possible despite ,en route, passing many empty ones.We moved ourselves to a more conveniently located one.
We sipped our drink and enquired several times as to when we could be seated in the restaurant.Eventually we were taken to the restaurant now some 30 minutes later than our reservation time .No apologies were given.Nobody offered to take our drinks to our restaurant table so my wife had to request a waiter to do this . Our table was ,you guessed it,the furthest away .It was the last one before the Beach Club.We now had to contend with the noise from the Beach Club and also the music in the restaurant .In addition there was a large male gathering a few feet away which also added to the noise level.
We complained. With no difficulty we were moved to a much quieter table so why could we not have been seated there in the first place?
The food was good but throughout, the service was poor.We finished, paid our somewhat expensive bill and departed.Nobody asked us if we had enjoyed our mal or the evening at The Cliff.

Will we go back .Probably YES because we have had good times there.BUT whoever is managing The Cliff needs to do some urgent ,somewhat elementary, training of many of the staff. The service we experienced is NOT excusable in a restaurant of any calibre and certainly should not be encountered at The Cliff. It better be improved and faultless next time!

I visited The Cliff for the second time in August last year - and yet again it did not disappoint!
The setting itself is the best on the island and really makes your meal an experience! Food was fantastic and service was good! It really is a must visit and I will most certainly be back!
