Spent the week at Sonrisa and was entirely satisfied - quiet, clean and very spacious. Victor and Miranda are both friendly and competent - breakfast is a great amenity. Perfect location for various purposes - any passably capable traveler will have everything they need.

Room Tip: Was upgraded free of charge - ask and there is a good chance.

This is the second time we have been to Bonaire and stayed at the Sonrisa and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is small and very private with lovely grounds. The rooms are a good size, clean and very comfortable with everything you need. The location is great being in a quiet part of the town, yet with lots of fabulous bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff (in particular Victor and Miranda) are really friendly and hospitable. They made us feel incredibly welcome, helping out with anything we needed and producing a fantastic spread for breakfast. The island is the most amazing place, with a superb windsurfing location and lots of wildlife. We really hope to make it back to beautiful Bonaire - and the Sonrisa - next year!

Excellent base for windsurfing and diving on Bonaire with good access to the many restaurants in town. Clean and comfortable rooms with hot water, TV, safe, comfortable bed and clean linen. Victor and Miranda were terrific hosts making for a very warm welcome, helpful guidance and excellent breakfasts - looking forward to returning next year

During my stay, I was impressed by the standard of this hotel for the price. Initial impression was it was clean and well maintained. It has nice private grounds where you have your breakfast in the mornings and you can also enjoy the use of the BBQ facilities there if you want a break from the local restaurants and want to cook for yourself. The staff are very freindly and if there is anything you need, you just have to ask and they will assist. The rooms are fairly basic, but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The hotel is walking distance from the main town where you can enjoy the local bars and restaurants, as well as a bit of shopping too. I would personally stay at this hotel again if I am lucky enough to get to return to this fabulous island! I thoroughly recommend the Sonrisa Hotel as a very good place to stay.

Fabulous place to stay. We have had 20 people come out to Bonaire windsurfing and we have put them all in the sonrisa. Great location, rooms, service and we will be back in 2018!

Enjoy the local area, close to the beach and some great places to eat in town!
