Hotel staff did not know anything about hotel management although some of them was kind. When we came to the hotel, we had to say them to give water to the rooms as there were no water in the bathroom. And when they gave, the water was not enough, we had to bathe under the icy slimy water. They let us in while they did not clean the sheets and clean out the garbage. After a while they cleaned the room but still there was a panty hanging on the french window! Minibars were empty. The bar was closed most of the time. In the restaurant it was impossible to find a cold drink, the refrigerators were not working. The most important is there is no water to drink!! The only good thing is that they provide internet cards and wifi hotspot but it's not worth to spend one minute in there.

We only came to this hotel as a last resort as we had nowhere else to stay. Some staff friendly, others not at all. They turn off the water to conserve so you can't even have a shower when you want. The "breakfast included" never had most of the food listed or even water. The door on the stairwell was locked for two days and we asked repeatedly (and nicely) for this to be open as it was a fire hazard and they never did. While we were there the electricity went (not the hotel's fault) but were trapped in the lift and had to pry the doors open. Major safety issues and not worth the money being charged.

We only landed here out of desperation - you will find somewhere far better just do your research in advance. We asked for things like an iron and were told "one moment" and just didn't get it. The bed sheets were not changed for the whole week were were there, One saving grace is that the air con worked most of the time. That is the only positive.

i spent one night in august 2017: dirty, very noisy conditioner, miserable breakfast, poor courtesy and honesty at reception! And especially no water all the time, just in the morning a little water (just cold)! Really really bad!!!

No hot water . In fact no water at all most of the time. For some reason the hotel staff keeps closing the water and only when you call them they open it again.
The room was sort of o.k, except that the air-conditioning system is very noise making it hard to fall asleep. The handle to the shower faucet was broken and kept falling off . It didn't matter much as it sucked taking a cold shower.
On of the walls was moist and paint coming off.
The refrigerator was locked. You have to pay 10 CUC to get it unlocked and with this price you get 4 beers, 4 sodas and 4 bottle water. Expect there was no beers but mango juice instead. It really sucks that you have to pay extra to get it unlocked.
The breakfast was kinda OK. An average selection. We tried to get some dinner there, but the hotel staff said it was closed. Don't know why as my Spanish is limited.
The hotel is located pretty far (4-5 km) from old Havana, so you will need a taxi to see the interesting sights of Havana. I would choose a casa instead. Much nicer.

Room tip: Malacon is pretty close

I spent there a night and the experience was not positive. There was no hot water when we arrived at the hotel (7pm), there was literally no water at all (!!!) when we got back to the hotel at night (2am), there was no hot water in the morning (8.30am).
Furthermore the air conditioning was as noisy as a ferry engine. Furnitures very very old.
At that price you can easily find a nice casa particular.
