This hotel lays near a beautiful beach but the rooms are shabby and run down! The breakfast was basic. You need to have a car, the hotel is in the middle of no where! Very remote -- No English speaking staff members! Which becomes exhausting after a while. It's like playing charades every time you need something simple!
This hotels is not really equipped for American tourism. They did not have a us adapter, which is needed to charge you phone! But the beach makes up for a lot : ))

Dear James,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor.

Your comments will help us to raise the quality of services offered to our customers.

However, we noticed that you enjoyed the beach located in the village and we are happy about it.

We hope, however, that you will keep a pleasant memory of your holidays in Guadeloupe.

Best regards,

Pierre & Vacances Village Team

We stayed 5 days in this Pierre & Vacances and have been pretty disappointed.
First the room was old and the fridge was very rusty... it really needs a good refurbishment. Second, a morning we had no water during a few hours!! Apparently there was a note a the reception but a good hotel cannot cut the water in the morning !! And third, the duvet had no cover!! Why ???
Otherwise the location is good, the pool is nice and there a beach just in front of the hotel.
So it has potential to be good, but it really needs better management and organisation, and a good renovation.
For the moment, we would not recommend this hotel.

The resort is extremely big and staff is scarce. Arrived late due to a delayed flight and was told to walk around the grounds at night alone to find my room. No assistance. Very few speak English. Phone and fan didn't even work in the room.

First the good: comfortable clean room with adequate kitchen facilities,
friendly staff, fantastic beach - one of the best on the island
Now the not so good : very hard to find the first time at night, there is no clear signpost. Despite the address being St Anne it's much closer to St Francoise. Hint- drive past St Anne for 10km or so and look for a sign on the right indicating Jumbo car rental, it's about 600m after a grill type restaurant on on right hand side.
The hotel does NOT have any computer facility available, I wanted to check in and print out the boarding passes, not possible - a small but important facility missing here.
The very bad : The buffet restaurant. We went there at 8:30 pm, all that was left was a few leftovers (spare ribs in a congealed sauce) cold chips or baked potato. I even had to ask (twice) for the drinking water dispenser to be refilled since there was no water available. All this for 30 Euro a head ! The most expensive meal we had during our 10 day trip to the island. 1km before the hotel on the same road there is an excellent buffet style restaurant that offers 1st class food (for only 20 Euro per person) walk, drive or crawl the 1km to the extra restaurant but do not eat the hotel buffet.
Overall the hotel was not bad, sort out these little issues and it would be excellent.

Nice, safe site and fine pool area (3 pools, one large) in a big garden. Direct access to a private beach, though not very good for swimming. Old and simple furniture and equipment int the room, which are in need of renovation. Cleanliness could be improved too.
