Coco has a great location on 7 Mile Beach, with a good mix of sun and shady spots. The hotel is set in pretty and well maintained gardens and is very clean. We enjoyed the whirlpool in it's shady garden.

The rooms are fairly basic and a bit dated but comfortable and very clean with good ac. I recommend staying at least one step above a standard room as those are dark and most do not have internet access or outdoor space.

My jr suite was spacious with a large outdoor space with a table, chairs and loungers.

Staff was really lovely and accommodating. Breakfasts were good and we especially enjoyed the fresh banana bread. The restaurant food was fine but there were better places to eat dinner nearby.

We enjoyed our stay and found it to be a good value. I would definitely come back and recommend.

Room tip: Avoid the most basic room category- dark, no wifi and no terrace. Bring small bills for tips and buying fruit and small items on the beach

This was our second time at coco and it was even better the second time! The hotel is about an hour and a half from Montego Bay airport and I would recommend not traveling on Saturday’s as there is a large market in Lucea (in between Negril and Montego Bay) and traffic is bad. I was a little nervous for my first time traveling after COVID but it was fine. During this visit staff are wearing masks and there is sanitizer everywhere. The staff is unbelievably accommodating and wonderful. We stayed in a superior room with two queen beds and it was clean and safe. The room is a little dated but again just fine. The continental breakfast is included with the room but upgrade your breakfast every morning! It’s worth it. The restaurants food is great for all meals. And drinks flow all day. Get out to to the beach early to snag your spot and make friends with the beach guard. They will set it up for you every morning! We brought our own floaties for the water but they have some available. Make sure to bring cash for tipping. Everyone we came across in town also take USD as well as Jamaica dollars. Our COVID tests were included in our stay. We just walked across the street and it took hardly any time at all. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get results! Also…the clinic is closed for lunch. Happy hour 5-7… 2 for 1! Thanks coco! See you soon!

Room tip: Traffic is bad in between Negril and MB in Friday’s and Saturday’s. Bring cash for tips. Check hours of covid clinic and plan around it.

Went to Coco for 3 weeks in December 2020. It was our favorite trip to Negril. We had an awesome room over looking the beach on the second floor. Not very many people at he resort, but it was still a great place to be! They had the COVID protocols down perfect. Hand sanitizer, temperature checks-it was all very safe. The Jamaican government threw a curve ball in with an early curfew for the last few days of our trip, but it was OK. Coco was able to remain open for food and drinks until about 10PM. I am so glad we decided to go and get away to our favorite place in the WORLD. Coco and Negril. See you Dec 2021!

Room tip: We love the Coco bulilding. Any room in that building.

Recommended by friends we took a leap and booked a girls trip here. We stayed in room 733 which has two beds with a patio entrance on the beach. It was 99% perfect. It rained the last night and we took in a little water on the floor which did not negatively affect our stay. We had trouble with the toilet flushing the first night which they promptly addressed and caused no further issues all week. The coffee, food, drinks, staff, security, turquoise water, and white sand beach were amazing. We awoke each morning to our four lounge chairs set up in the same spot and exactly how we like them. I would plan to bring a stack of ones for tips. The Covid test was conveniently located across the street and was an easy process. We checked out a hair dryer and got two extra blankets as the room was wonderfully cool. A rare thing happened to me on a day when the ocean waves were a bit more rough - I stepped on a small sea urchin. The hotel promptly called the nurse/doc for advice and brought me what I needed. It is an unusual happening so be on the look out while stepping in the ocean waters. They are crystal clear so it should be easy to avoid. My mistake was getting off my floatie without looking down first. We purchased floaties at Costco for $29 and packed them in our suitcases and asked the terrific beach security/life guard if they could fill them up with an air compressor. We left them with friends we met there. Everyone we met were returning visitors which proved to us just how fantastic this resort was. We had many meals at the resort which were all wonderful. We took one excursion off of the resort to Rick’s Cafe which was fun. We enjoyed the fresh juice and cooked lobsters for sale on the beach each day. Soshana is the outstanding masseuse on the beach at the resort which is a must do and extremely reasonable. We arranged for transportation from the airport to the hotel through the hotel and it was great. Merritt our driver stopped at the grocery store so we could pick up some champagne for mimosas and some other items. Please reach out for other questions you may have. We will most definitely repeat this vacation again very soon.

Ok not too $$ but amazingly worth it. Easy Access to 7 miles of white sand and I’m not sure if it’s the Covid effect but every one is so accommodating and friendly. Make sure to have the continental breakfast it’s included in your stay.. the other menu is ok but I quite liked that I could walk on the beach and have pizza or authentic Jamaican food next door and for Jamaican juices don’t hesitate to buy from Juiceman Flex. Security on the beach is commendable so you won’t be hassled. My girls and I had a great relaxing time ...a day of snorkeling and Booby Cay is accessable and it’s close to the Knutsford Bus and Negril town. A fine way to relax in Covid time.. social distancing and sanitizing is practiced... a nice break Kudos Coco La Palm for adhering to Covid 19 restrictions
