We have just returned from our wedding at Beaches Negril and it was absolutely amazing.
The wedding went off without a hitch. The entertainment, decorations, service, food, everything at it was more than phenomenal. Beaches made my wedding the most perfect day of my life and my husband and I would not have changed a thing.
The vacation was really really awesome. We knew we were coming during the rainy season, but there was only one day that we didn't hit the beach.
The beach is beautiful...white, soft sand, crystal clear water, and free snorkelling!!! Plenty of lounge chairs to go around and activities galore if you want to partake in them. We loved walking the beach! My sister got stung by a jellyfish at Ricks cafe, but you are in the ocean and sometimes these things happen. Benadryl is a must when travelling in Carribean countries. In saying this Ricks cafe is a really cool place. The diving is amazing...however, I don't recomment that anyone dive from the tallest spot that they let tourists dive from, one of my friends landed wrong and got huge black bruises all over her butt, and she was lucky, they have way worse injuries all the time.
The food was spectacular. I have read reviews where people complain, but I can't imagine what they are expecting. There is fresh fruit, amazing breads, chicken, fish, veggies, cheese, beef, pizza, anything you want, and its all delicious. I loved the Jamaican beef and chicken patties the best! The steak there was awesome. I live in Calgary, Alberta and it was equally as good as Alberta beef! The drinks are awesome!!! Pina coladas are thick and creamy, the Dirty Banana is fantastic, Red Stripe is a good beer! Nobody out of the 24 of us who went, including 2 children under 2 years old, got sick at all.
The entertainment is great! There is always something going on, you just need to read the daily activity guide.
The rooms were clean and spacious and nice.
Everything was awesome! If anyone has any questions feel free to email me and I will do my best to help you out.
Oh yes, YS Falls is super beautiful and fun. Rent your own bus privately and go there for the day, it will be half the price.
