The Old San Juan Farmers Market only takes place once a week and while it is very small, it's still worth checking out. With about a dozen small vendors featuring limited produce, cheeses and other homemade foods, about a third of the vendors were showcasing coffee products. There were also a few stands with locally made crafts and gift ideas.
It isn't large enough to occupy more than an hour or so, of your time, but it is still neat to check out and gives you a more local, authentic feel for Old San Juan.
