I booked two nights at this hotel because of the convenient location, being clear that I was not booking a luxury hotel. I paid approx $165 per night including room rate, taxes and fees. Our room was very very dated, with white-wash furniture, old-looking mushy carpet, a chair with ripped upholstery, a non-functioning safe box and a flat screen TV that did not function properly (ie: had to call maintenance person to reset it every time it was turned to on, because the audio worked but no image could be seen on the TV screen). The bed was average, but the linens felt moist. The room did have a very good a/c and a clean bathroom with toiletries/ clean linens and hot water. In-room wi-fi was good.
Pool was clean, although pool surroundings were also dated.
Rate included daily buffet breakfast which was very good.
Employees were inclined to serve, but I think they need to improve their hospitality skills.
All in all, this hotel is in need of major renovation. It seems frozen in time for the most part. My impression was that of a decadent, unattractive place, that was way overpriced for what it offered.More
