We had 3 wonderful nights at Hacienda Tamarindo. The hotel is attractively built and maintained with eclectic decorations. The surrounding grounds are amid a semi-rural area, so we enjoyed seeing the wild horses galloping about, plus everywhere are flowering bushes and trees including wild mango.
The hotel staff is very kind with special call out to the owners. We saw them at the excellent breakfast each day and they were always engaging with the guests.
My beautiful wife and I most seek comfort and privacy and Hacienda Tamarindo gave us both.
We did not use all hotel facilities, like library or pool. They are, however, nicely done.
The sole, small, issue we had – and this might be because our room was in the villa perhaps 50 m from the main building – is that the WIFI signal would often drop. WIFI, however, was always solid in the main building.
The island of Vieques overall all is a superb vacation spot with great beaches, restaurants, and the justifiably famous bio-luminescent bay.
Summary: Outstanding, beautiful hotel, very comfortable, kind and generous staff.More
