Review of The Hideaway

The Hideaway
Price range: C$11 - C$43
Description: The Hideaway Bar and Restaurant is centrally located in the village of Windwardside. Although, tucked away to the back of the Breadline Plaza, this is one restaurant you don’t want to miss out on experiencing. The atmosphere at The Hideaway is always welcoming. Great food, drinks, prices and even better service are some of the things that make this little restaurant an awesome hang out spot for locals and visitors alike. The menu at The Hideaway offers a variety of different food items. Don’t leave without trying the local catch and house made gelato!

Six of us had dinner here and were
very pleased with the food and
service. Looks like a nondescript
snack shop but is way more. We had full dinners including local specialties.

Where do I even begin about this Hideaway Restaurant , the good here is great, deliouse, just well seasoned 👍👌 my first food I tasted here was a mahi mahi with rice and veggies 👊👌this was taste, I fell in love with the rice. For the bday dinner on the 10.12.2016 we had calamares as a starter and this for my first time caught me by surprise, this was indeed lekker (yummy) 😃 If i wasn't ordering a next meal I would sure have ordered another one hehe. Our next dish was steak this is normally my regular dish I would order at a restaurant for I am a steak lover, this was wonderful as well. My friend ordered mussels, lots knows I love this to do I tried some of hers it was really amazing. I would go back here anytime to eat again the food was great and the drinks also, well I had a mojito my best drink thus far. The staff was also great with there service😉 I would recommended any tourist visting the island of Saba to try out this place, you won't regret it.

Our dinner at The Hideaway was a wonderful and filling experience. Our multiple courses were well prepared and plentiful. You absolutely will not leave hungry. The open-air option for your dining is an added value as you can enjoy the village's more tranquil feel during the evening while enjoying the cool breeze. There is a set yet diverse menu which is often complimented with a special of the day. Humor is also alive at The Hideaway, either in person or on their roadside board!

When we arrived in Winward side this pas the first restaurant/bar we visited after our check in at scouts place. The staff and owners are super friendly and we had a great time here. The restaurants looks great inside and out. We were sorry they were closed on Sunday (maybe only low season??) as we were planning to have lunch here. On our next trip we will certainly be back:-)

This was such a great find in this little cul de sac with a sort of European feel to it. It was a Friday night and it was definitely the spot to be at on Friday nights! There were 3 of us and everything we ordered was delicious. A must while there on the island!
