From the beginning, my wife and I couldn't have been happier about our decision to spend a week here. Reception was warm and all of the staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. We stayed in unit 151 which, much to our surprise, was a 3-level, modern, fully equipped condo, each level having it's own terrace. The top sundeck included an outdoor shower. It was a wow moment as the views were, too, incredible. Just keep in mind, my brother stayed in a 2-BR and it wasn't nearly as nice as ours and it was smaller in size.

The food was as expected, a tad better than other resort offerings we have had in the past. The beach isn't a long expanse, but the water was clear and we spent most of our time kicked back enjoying the sun, breeze, and sea. I'd say our only disappointment was the condition of the tennis courts. Not many consistent bounces off the worn astroturf, though we found it perfectly suited to work on our agility skills. Great stay, thank you to the Windjammer staff!

Room tip: Views are great every direction but the rooms do vary in quality. May I suggest unit 151?

Owned 2 week time share for ten years. Each villa has its own view of the ocean. The people are kind and considerate. Every Tuesday there is a manager's party for All guests. On Wednesday there is an owner's party. Each night a different band plays. There is a fire dance after the manager's party. Check out their website. You definitely won't want to miss this place.

Not all room s equal! Try for the A rooms over the B rooms... travelling w family a villa A and B perfect!not good snorkeling here... murky. Dive shop amenable, but not good w large groups. Best diving is on South- near Anse Chastenet Hotel- the wreck dive is better than expected and should be a must if diving.
Papa Dons restaurant is excellent- reservations a must as it is small.

Room tip: Request closer to lobby if have restricted ability to walk..steep hills, shuttle bus available All rooms have great views!

Great service and a lot of fun for the whole family. A lot of water sports for both the most and least physically active. Resort staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Shuttles will pick you up quickly and drive you anywhere in the resort if you don't feel like walking. Rick the manager and Essey at the front desk were both very accommodating and Anisia the waitress at Upper Deck was literally the best waitress we've ever had.

Saint Lucia is a beautiful island but if you are seeing it only through Castries on a day trip from a cruise ship then you miss most of the beauty of this volcanic island with French and English roots. Windjammer Landing is about an hour and a half drive from the international airport. But you get to see about 5 climate zones and the trip to the northern part of the island where Windjammer is located winds through villages, banana plantations and local roadside spontaneous markets. The resort is Canadian owned so the voltage is N American and many of the villas have James Bondian views of the sea. Since the island is volcanic a shuttle takes those who dont want to have a climbing workout up and down from the beach and pools to the villas. Our villa has a small Infinity pool hanging over the large umbrella shaded deck and the view is nothing short of spectacular. We opted to grocery shop on the way in from the airport to the resort and we plan to eat about half the time at the 4 restaurants on the premises plus get a cab to go to an adjoining resort to their weekly lobster and steak cookout. Papa Dons restaurant is Italian and the pizzas are to die for. The prices are in Easter Caribbean and if you don't know that you get a shock when the bill arrives. Service is included as is a hefty 15 percent Vat tax. There is a small grocery store on the premises. Plus there is jewelry store and a souvenir shop as well. There is lots to do including snorkel trips, Hobie cats, paddle boards and water skiing. There are 3 hammocks in the warm shallow water of the protected area if you want to really be decadent. A beautiful spa, yoga room, pool exercise and a new gym seem to be well attended. Staff here are friendly, anxious to please and seem to be proud of the years of service they have given to the resort. Lunch at Embers is casual...you can go in your bathing suit and we love the piton beer, (the local one)and the delicious fish tacos. Jam mets is another beach restaurant but it's nicer for dinner. They seem to specialize in local fish and the wine list is decent. On Sunday's there is a local entertainer and some nights they have a local band plus a calypso style show with limbo and island ladies in costume around the pool deck. This seems to be a popular destination for weddings and I can see why. It is beautiful, luxe, romantic and the water is dreamy warm! Some of the villas are colonial style and some are super modern...both are lovely. There are several pools...the largest one down in the centre of things is not heated but is comfortable due to the blazing sunshine. There is a lovely sand beach for little children but bring a rash guard ...the sun is very intense. All in all a beautiful place to beat the winter cold!

Room tip: Most villas have a sea view. If you don't like to ride a shuttle get a lower villa .The climb to upper ones is steep!
