After a few months of research my husband and I decided to take a different twist on our yearly vacation accommodation. Instead of selecting a 5 five star all inclusive property we choose Villa Beach Cottages since it offered not just a room but a fully contained cottage style unit with daily housekeeping service. Although we would be responsible for our meals we did not mind since the grocery stores were close by and a
BBQ was provided by Villa Beach. We were always out so we would get something to eat at one of the local restaurants which we enjoyed. The street festival was the first we
have ever attended in all the islands we have visted and that was one of the highlights of our trip.
We would like to thank the staff for making our stay a memorable vacation. They were approachable, knowledgeable regarding all the attaractions of the island. Taxi driver Claudis (our guardian angel) was always available to assist with our transportation needs.
Although the island was hit by hurricane Tomas on October 30 we still felt confident in
following through with our vacation plans because while speaking with the staff they assured us that the infrastructure of the island was restored to a safe level for everyone.

We got married there and was absolutely perfect. The staff are so friendly they make you feel at home and will do everything in their power to make your stay what you imagined. It is so close to the ocean the view from your bed is breathtaking and magical. Not having a restaurant on site didn't matter because we BBQ and had a full kitchen. Not many resaurants have a balcony 20' from the ocean like our suite. If you want to avoid the huge crowds associated with the large all-inclusives and opt for a more personal quiet holiday with all the amenities then you owe it to yourself to stay here.We totally reccommend it and hope to get back for an anniversary.

Villa Beach Cottages is a lovely place to stay, with owner & staff who 'go the extra mile' to be helpful in every way. We were certainly welcomed as part of the VBC family! Our beach front appartment was very luxurious, with wonderful view of sunsets over the sea! Everywhere was spotless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, whether it was helping us get a crab out of a shell (thanks, Sabby!) or taking care of us during the hurricane!!! Colin gave us a comprehensive run down of where best to go on the island, with very helpful 'inside information'. VBC is very conveniently situated just north of Castries so a good place to tour from. Quiet, no on-site entertainment or bars etc - just how we like it! In fact, we can't think of any negative comment at all and would certainly like to pay a return vist at sometime.

Our stay at The Villa Beach Cottages was simply amazing. Our cottage was spacious, clean, and elegant. The cottages contained real, high quality furniture and the beds were very comfortable. We rented a ground floor unit and it was great being able to sit out on the lovely patio and enjoy the view. The beautiful beach was only a few steps away and it was so nice to be able to be on the beach but be able to run into the cottage for a drink or a snack. But by far, the best part of our vacation was getting to know the people of St. Lucia, starting with the amazing staff of Villa Beach Cottages. Nadia, Neva, Olivia, Austin, Sabby, and the owner Colin, could not have been more warm, friendly, and helpful. They knew our whole family by name and took care of our every need. Although we rented a car, we had the great pleasure of meeting and using the services of Moses Paul (758-584-1585) who took us on a number of tours, to dinner, and to the Friday night fish fry at Anse La Raye (we highly recommend doing that!). Villa Beach Cottages only has about 21 cottages, which really adds to the charm. Since it was so cozy, we made friends with a number of other families....which was predicted by Colin during our post-check-in meet and greet with him. If you are looking for a cozy, welcoming, beautiful, comfortable, friendly, relaxing place to stay...look no further than Villa Beach Cottages. As a further testament, our 3 teenage kids still talk about our vacation in St. Lucia, still stay in touch with the friends they made there, and want to go back next year.

My now husband and I booked our Honeymoon @ St Lucia without having any idea where to stay, where to go, etc.

Through online recommendations, we found Villa Beach Cottages. It appealed to us for a few reasons:
1. We didn't want to stay at an all-inclusive resort... we wanted to get out of the resort & explore
2. We didn't want to deal with a cookie cutter experience.
3. We didn't want to deal with a crowd
4. We wanted a great value for the money spent.

We could not have been more thrilled with Villa Beach Cottages!

Upon arrival, we were picked up at the airport by the incredibly friendly Austin, who came bearing two Piton Beers for us to enjoy. We arrived at the cottages, checked in quickly, and found our incredibly clean, rennovated, fantastic room ready for us. We headed down to the beach (all of 50 steps) and enjoyed our first few moments in the Carribean.

The next day we recieved a call from the front office to come and meet with the General Manager, Colin. Colin was SO nice, gave us a quick background on the cottages, and pulled out a map detailing all of the various 'to-dos' on the island. It was a god-send - we were able to immediately identify places we HAD to eat at , explore and visit. Even better, is that the fabulous ladies at the front desk coordinated our entire week for us, once we told them what we'd like to do. It is service at it's BEST.

We can't say enough positive things about the Villa Beach Cottages & the staff. It was an incredible experience, and when we make it back to St. Lucia, we know where we will stay!
