Sandals La Toc gave us the honeymoon of a lifetime! From start to finish we were treated like royalty and truly felt welcomed. We had the concierge service (which I highly reccommend!!) and once we arrived they immediately took us to a seperate room (air conditioned!) with champagne, hors d 'ouvres and finger sandwiches. Someone personally took us to our room and made sure to answer any questions we had.

The room was beautiful, cool and romantic. They had champagne and fruits waiting for us. We had the walk out suite that opened to the beautiful garden then the beach. The pools, beach, bars, restaurants were all clean and beautiful. The food was superb and I can't say enough about the amazing experience!

We did a couples massage that was worth every penny! The Joe Knows Tour was absolutely one of the highlights of our honeymoon!! JR is the best!! Golf was relaxing and Sauny was the most patient and fun caddy!! We had a romantic dinner on the beach...so many wonderful memories I can't fit them all into a review!!

There were some comments I saw before our trip that were very negative, and one couple while we were there complained about their horrible experiences and all I have to say is when something doesn't go your way deal with it, do what you need to do then get over it. I believe these people ruined their own honeymoon and that's sad. I'm not saying that what they went though wasn't bad, they did have difficulties with their room situation but your in paradise, enjoy it or you will forever look back with bad memories!

We had a beautiful honeymoon and all our family and friends adore the pictures and stories, hopefully you get lots of business through our expreience. Thank you for making our honeymoon so magical!

Room Tip: Walk out rooms = amazing! Stay close to the beach!

What a great resort and island. My wife and I booked one of the Sunset Bluff rooms with butler service and it is worth every penny. We had our own plunge pool on our patio overlooking the entire resort. Our butlers, Clovis and Gilbert, were fantastic. They even unpacked and packed all our clothes. Helpful hint- One day I asked the butlers if we get a spot on the beach reserved with a cooler of beer and champagne. They totally delivered and even included some waters just in case. We would also highly recommend the "Joe Knows Tour." It is a great fun way to see and learn about the entire island and try some of the local rum punch. It definitely has a little more kick to it than the Sandals stuff!! We met some great couples onboard as well that were at our Resort. Hi Taylor's. I will also say that we thought the food was really good, esp Armando's and the resort was kept very clean considering the capacity.

Overall, it was a great experience and set the bar pretty high for our future caribbean vacations.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were treated exceptionally well. Everyone on staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful (thank you to Terry, and Josie our lovely cabana girl!) We loved the food, the ambiance - the candlelit dinner in the gazebo was perfection and very happy with our beach photo session (thank you Lugar!) It was a treat to have the Cricketeers Pub on site (fab fish n' chips) and every restaurant we went to exceeded our expectations. Thanks Sandals for making our honeymoon an experience we'll never forget!

You get what you pay for! I did extensive research into this trip (our 25th anniversary) and read a lot of reviews on this site. This was our 3rd all inclusive, but 1st Sandals. We wanted privacy, luxury and an amazing view. We wanted to be able to relax and stay in our suite and not leave if we didn't feel like it. We didn't want to hang out with other couples, share a pool with hundreds of others or partake in limbo contests--and we didn't.

Thanks to this site, we avoided all of the very persistent guys who try to carry your luggage for tips at the airport. They yell out "Sandals!" and even stand right in front of a Sandals sign, but don't be taken in by them--they are not Sandals employees and will carry your luggage out the doors a few dozen feet and then ask for a tip. We rolled our own luggage out to the Sandals reception area (outside and to the left a hundred feet or so) and were whisked into our own private luxury car (part of our package) for a slightly scary and nauseating 45 minute twisting drive to the Regency La Toc resort. The car took us right up to the bluffs where we were taken into the wonderfully air conditioned butler's reception area and given champagne and appetizers. We waited only about 5 minutes when our butler came and took us to our beautiful suite where we immediately started our vacation. No crowded bus, no cattle call in the main reception area, no orientation.

We stayed in the Sunset Bluff Honeymoon Ocean Front Villa Suite with a private pool and couldn't have been happier. The bluffs are about 1/4 mile or more from the main resort, yet we had a restaurant, a gym and a beautiful resort pool with swim up bar and waterfall just about 500 feet from our front door. It was quiet, gorgeous and exactly what we were hoping for.

We did go snorkeling, sailed on a hobie cat and took the shuttle to the Grand a couple of times, but we would have been happy if we never left our room. Our room faced east so the sun woke us up every morning and we have never had a better view--full ocean, mountains, and the main resort. Our private patio with plunge pool was just right. We didn't have to save loungers at the resort pools, worry about finding towels or avoid seeing European men in tiny Speedos. :) We could wake up in the middle of the night and take a dip in our pool with no one the wiser. It was lovely.

Our butlers were very friendly and happy to get us anything we asked for. Breakfast was served at whatever time we requested each morning and drinks, other meals and snacks were brought whenever we called them on the cell phone they provided us. They had already made reservations at the 3 best restaurants before we even arrived at the resort and insisted on making all of our activity reservations so they could know when we were going and coming and coordinate housekeeping and more.

As far as the food goes--it was good enough. We weren't really impressed with room service food, but we filled our tummies and were grateful. We liked Armando's and ate there a few times, but didn't really care for Kimono's or La Toc--the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't special and had to wait a long time for the food. Gordon's at the Grand was the best by far. We ate there on our anniversary and were genuinely pampered and impressed with the very delicious food. We wouldn't have done an all inclusive if it were about the food--you can't expect five star amazing food from resorts like this. We saw the "chefs' and they appeared to be local. I'm sure they were trained by good chefs, but Sandals does not brag about their French, Italian or Japanese chefs. :) We payed for a lovely suite, an amazing view, friendly butler service and privacy--and that is what we got.

All this to say, if you want a really romantic, private, quiet, relaxing and amazing get-away, and don't have to have 5 star food, stretch your budget and go for one of the best rooms on the bluffs at La Toc. You won't regret it. I can't stop looking at all of our pictures and can't wait to go back for our 30th anniversary.

Room Tip: Bluff rooms w/pools are more private on east side.
