We went to Stonefield for our honeymoon and purchased their all-inclusive package. While the room was beautiful, and the views were stunning, but I would recommend staying elsewhere in St. Lucia. We spent $5,000 for a week.
The service was horrendous. There was no communication about what was and was not included in our all-inclusive plan (we were often billed for things like coffee after the fact because we were not informed it was not included). It was like pulling teeth to get drinks (that were included in our package), room service is an extra charge.
The receptionist was incredibly rude and would not communicate when we were able to get our COVID tests (required for our trip home). We asked several days in a row and would be told different things by different staff members (the doctor only works Saturdays, the doctor never works Saturdays, we may not be able to get you a test because we have 16 other people that need it, we will let you know when we hear from the doctor, etc.).
This lapse in communication only worsened throughout our stay. We had an early morning excursion and were told by reception to go to breakfast when the restaurant first opened and we would have time to eat before our tour, they informed us we did NOT need to pre-order breakfast. Upon arriving at the restaurant that morning, we were scolded for not pre-ordering breakfast. When we spoke with reception about our concerns, they told us they would get back to us and they never did.
We asked to speak with management on multiple occasions, and reception ignored our requests and would basically just start talking about other things.
Reception lied to us about what was open after COVID, and we later found out from local Taxi drivers that tours they were telling us were closed were in fact open. So we missed out on a lot that we wished we could have done.
The food was garbage. Completely flavorless. Dinner takes a minimum of 1.5 hours so be prepared.
Overall, St. Lucia is a beautiful country, but this is NOT the resort to choose!
