I have stayed here more than once. this is a very special place. The peace and quiet you get here is unbelievable. There are no tvs. You hear the rustle of trees and rain. The rooms are great. you will need a car but you can easily get one as the owners have a car rental company. The place I would say is the best value for money. If you like to go out and eat and see the sights, most of which are near this property. Don't forget to visit Hotel Chocolat. Did I forget to say that the house is situated on a plantation.. many different fruits and trees all on your doorstep.

Room Tip: There are steps up to a room in the roof. Not suitable for small kids. There are 3 rooms downstairs. .

We had one night here to experience a working plantation and I just wish we had stayed longer here. Swimming in the infinity pool was beautiful just looking up and seeing the rainforest all around. Seeing all the fruits growing on the trees, you felt so close to nature. Was wonderful to meet Charles the estate manager who showed us around and our kids were fascinated by him and how chocolate is made. Antonia was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

After the hustle of Rodney Bay we enjoyed our peaceful stay here immensely. I have never drunk so much fresh fruit juice; the novelty of picking and juicing ones own citrus fruits never wore off. Staff are delightful, we we lucky to be provided with some of Antonia's rum cake..."it's the black cake I love".

We enjoyed a relaxing 4 day break at the end of our St Lucia holiday at La Dauphine. The house feels untouched since it's Victorian heyday but has all modern conveniences. The infinity pool is magnificent. After a swim in the evening you can look out at the lush rainforested estate and pick the fruits you want to enjoy with the following morning's breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and a morning with Charles (The Estate Manager) is very interesting and worthwhile. Antonia prepares lovely breakfasts and authentic Caribbean meals with local produce,. One of my favourite ever holiday destinations..

This diamond in the rough estate house is perfect for a family retreat. Both my husband and I lead very busy career lives. With two young boys, we often look for stacation venues which permit us a retreat from the distractions of life. This was perfect. Being able to hand pick and eat fresh fruit (cocoa) off the tree, swim in a private pool, relax in swings or hammocks whilst listening to birds was a real treat. The grounds are well maintained and there is still an authentic, quaint and rustic estate feel to the property from the furniture to the crockery available for use. There was no radio or tv so we re-bonded in a wonderful and magical way. Even our boys ( both under age 10) did not want to leave. Now that says it all. The property is located less than 5 minutes from the sulphur springs and pitons...truly simply spectacular.
