The Sea Palace premises is aged, however it was very clean and pleasant to stay. The staff were very helpful. It is right on the beach and on the board walk to Front Street where all the stores are located. The restaurants that were excellent nearby were Chesterfields and the Greenhouse Restaurants. The atmosphere and food were excellent. The beaches were only crowded when the cruise ships arrived on Thursday and Saturday. Otherwise you were almost alone on the beaches. The water was like bath water and we stayed in the water up to an hour just relaxing. The streets were always clean (not like the US). You hardly saw any of the residents of St Maartin in the water, only the tourists loved the water.
The only item the Sea Palace did not have was a pool if you are looking for one.
They had a Chinese restaurant in the premises, however you can walk to a local restaurant for breakfast or dinner. They also do not have a bar if you are a drinker.
There is no area for parking a car at the Sea Palace.More
