We stopped off at the Sint Rose bar during our day trip to St Maarten. With only about 20% of the shops, bars and restaurants in Philipsburg being open after the damage from Hurricane Irma, Sint Rose was one of the few open on the waterfront.
We had a coffee and a small draft Heineken and chatted to the friendly barmaid/owner, who was very positive about Philipsburg quickly recovering and being ready for the Cruise ships due to arrive at Christmas.
We had quite a nice trip and hope their business recovers quickly as we were the only customers.
