Once inside you can't believe you are right off a bustling Marigot street! They've upgraded the interior since we were there a few years ago and it is beautiful. The meal was wonderful and flavors were amazing. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. I also recommend the signature cocktail the server referred to as a "Moroccan Mojito". Very happy we chose to eat at Marrakech again this trip!

So pleased we visited this hidden gem in Marigot. Upon entering an unassuming exterior, an absolute oasis greets you inside with a courtyard of lush plants, fountains, and a spectacularly decorated dining room. Really felt like we had stepped into another time and place. This is family run and clearly a labor of love - when the owner came by our table to welcome us, he told us he and his wife did all of the decor themselves (she painted amazing portraits of famous folks wearing fezzes), and their son was our server. The food was delicious (we had hummus as an app, then shared a tajine and a couscous...which was way too much for us to finish but we were glad we tried both) and felt very authentic. We were the first to arrive but by the time we had left the place had really filled up, which meant our waiter was a little hurried with all his tables - we had a bit of trouble flagging him down for our check, but it wasn't a big problem. There was also a belly dancer who performed around all the tables which was a fun surprise. Overall this was a lovely meal in a very special setting to which we would definitely return.

Our second visit to this surprising gem in Marigot. Our first was 12 months ago and it has only got better! From the garden green foliage passage entrance off the noisy street to the peace and tranquility inside is the first plus. The warm welcome is the second. The incredibly beautiful Moroccan decor with many traditional crafts executed by the owner is very inspiring and transporting. The menu is extensive with a range of tagines that will not disappoint, couscous dishes also and tasty little sweets served with Moroccan mint tea to complete a memorable dining experience at an affordable price. This is a family business, the son serving us with style and the father visiting the table to explain his passion and labour of love. The mother is a skillful artist and her caricatures are very entertaining. Don't miss out on this unique Caribbean experience!
