Been going to the island several times annually since 2009. I just completed my 23rd trip. Since the Palms open it has been on my must do list each visit. The staff are very friendly and wonderful people and are half the reason I go each visit. The second reason is the food. My favorite is the Drunken Ribs, they are fantastic.

The pricing is very reasonable, but they do not accept credit cards, so bring dollars or Euros.

On the final day of a week long trip, a friend and I were planning a final crawl through the Simpson Bay neighborhood to cap off an amazing vacation. When we realized our initial destination was not open for Happy Hour, we meandered down the street in search of an open spot for a quick drink or two. We stumbled upon The Palms, apparently just opening up for business. We were greeted by the owners, a couple of Canadian transplants, and ordered a sangria, planning on killing time until the night scene (such as it was during the offseason on a Wednesday) started. That was around 4:30.

We didn't leave until 11.

The owners were supremely attentive from the moment we hit the bar, unassuming yet happily willing to chat. My wrap was delicious, though I regret not getting the Drunken Ribs my friend ordered. Neither plate lasted long. Drinks were served fast and poured well, but we never felt hurried or pressured into ordering another. Though I cannot account for the engaged couples taste for hockey teams, I will say that the entire experience was a true highlight of one of the best trips I've had the pleasure of taking. If I'm ever back on the island, it will be my first stop.

Had dinner here during low season, the service was great and the food was awesome. One of our favorite meals in our week long stay here. It is in a great location and has an inviting atmosphere! The chicken with creamy mushroom sauce is AMAZING!!

I am frequently on the island and this is the one place that is a Must every time. I was just there this evening and had a fantastic dinner. The Drunken Ribs fall apart with a fork - my favorite on the menu and quite honestly, the best ribs on the island. The portions are large, service is excellent, location convenient - perfect in all ways. I had the vegetable mix as a side and they were fresh, steamed, and not overdone. Small mixed greens with a balsamic garnish was great. Ate all I could and brought the rest back for lunch tomorrow!

Highly Recommended.

Travis.
