“PARADISE!”
Reviewed June 13, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Adagio was absolutely beautiful, the views were spectacular! The beds were really comfortable. Every night when we came in from being out, we would sit on the giant porch. The fans and lighting, mixed with the lovely breeze made it a perfect spot to put our feet up and just relax or read a book. I've compared Adagio with other villa and Adagio was much cheaper than other villa's that weren't nearly as big or as nice. There is a short pathway down to the beach, Mahoe bay. i snorkeled at a few different spots and Mahoe Bay was my favorite. It was great that I could communicate with the owner Brian, he was really nice and helpful. We are already planning our return trip to Adagio in November or December.

“Once in a lifetime!”
Reviewed May 21, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This 5 bedroom is villa is beautiful It is a true caribbean experience with soft breezes and spectacular views. It is ideal for multiple families because there is a separate building with 2 joining rooms. This is where the teenagers slept but it would be perfect for families with young children as well-parents in the privacy of their own room but little ones still close by. There was housekeeping service everyday except Sunday and they even changed the sheets during our week stay. We loved the exterior dining area and patio beverage fridge came in handy! The pool area has plenty of chairs and loungers, and the beach is soft sand with the bluest ocean. The locals on the island were friendly and accommodating. A once in a lifetime trip!

“Villa Adagio- True to the Name, We Slowed Our Pace In This Chunk of Paradise”
Reviewed May 6, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We arrived to breath-taking views of sunset from the large main covered deck. We soon discovered that depending on the time of day, the home had been thoughtfully designed so that there is always an ideal place to do whatever activity suits the moment- sitting out on the large balcony looking at the sea, lounging by the poolside, grabbing a cold beer at the outside bar, sitting at the open deck table watching for shooting stars. The beach is a short stroll away. The beach is magnificent- crescent-shaped, wonderful golden sand, great coral formations just offshore for snorkeling fun- sea turtles, manta rays, brilliantly colored tropical fish, lobsters strolling along the sea floor!
Virgin Gorda has enough good restaurants that we had plenty of choices. When we did eat in, we found that Villa Adagio's kitchen is very well-equipped.
We're already looking at our calendars to plan our next stay!

“Adagio is a jewel in a bit of Paradise.”
Reviewed March 5, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Adagio Villa is a jewel in a bit of Paradise. It was far more than we had hoped for. Beautifully furnished, a well equipped kitchen, lush tropical gardens, spacious with plenty of room to be on our own. We were six and it never felt crowded. We ate out on the deck almost every night. The views are breath taking . It's only two minutes walk to the beach at Mahoe Bay and a five minute drive into town where there are great restaurants and food markets.
The staff is attentive and helpful.
You could't ask for a better place.

“Great relaxing vacation”
Reviewed March 2, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Brian's villa exceeded expectations. It was very private, spacious, with stunning views and basically on the beach. We loved how unassuming our vacation was - there were no scheduled activities, we did what we pleased. The beach was practically empty, we felt like we were in paradise. We rented a car, which is a must and drove around the island, finding a few other beaches that were stunning. We found that local restaurants ranged from simple and friendly to sophisticated and upscale. Food is expensive but it is a small inconvenience considering the island is so beautiful and you truly feel like you are on an exclusive getaway with your friends...there are no crowds, no loud music...just rest and beach fun. It was awesome!

“Paradise”
Reviewed December 9, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We had a wonderful stay at Adagio Villa. Brian, the owner, was great to work with. The Villa is in a great location with incredible views and has everything you could possibly want...they even had snorkeling gear, though we brought our own. Plenty of privacy if you were coming with a group. Mahoe bay is the best place to be...easy access to the North or Baths...plus Mahoe Bay is great for relaxing or snorkeling. The Villa is well kept. Our only suggestion would be to have screens on the sliding doors from the main living area to the patio....otherwise it was perfection and we can't wait to return......

“Fantastic villa - gorgeous views - great location”
Reviewed November 20, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

My husband and I stayed here in October for 10 days. We really love this villa and highly recommend it for a stay on Virgin Gorda. It's a wonderful house - beautifully and comfortably furnished, lush landscaping, well equipped kitchen and nice pool. There are beach chairs, coolers, plastic containers (to take food for picnics) and a separate ice maker. This is the first house we've stayed in with a ice maker, which means we never had to stop at the store to buy ice for the cooler. The house and pool were kept immaculately clean.

The tropical foliage on the property is lush and beautiful. We enjoyed all the flowers, bushes and trees and watching the hummingbirds and bananaquits feeding on the colorful flowers each day.

Our favorite part of the villa was the big porch with gorgeous views out to Mahoe Bay. We ate many meals here, rather than going to a restaurant because it was so enjoyable on the porch. There is a large dining table, and comfortable chairs if you want to put your feet up and enjoy the view. We used the upstairs bedroom in the main house. The view from the porch up there was awesome as well. We had our morning coffee there and enjoyed watching the pelicans feeding in the bay.

For us, the villa location was perfect. It was a short drive (approx 10 minutes) to town for restaurants and groceries. Mahoe Bay beach is a short walk, and the other beaches are a few minutes drive. It was about a 15 minute drive to Gun Creek where you can take a ferry to Saba Rock for a fun happy hour and nice meal.

We highly recommend a stay at Adagio villa and we will return.
