That conch pathway to the hammocks sold me as I was researching places to stay on Cayman Brac for our 20th anniversary. We live near a beautiful white sugar sand beach with emerald waters on the Gulf of Mexico (Destin, FL), so not just any property would impress us. This beach area did not disappoint! It was picturesque, the hammocks and lounging chars were comfortable, and the snorkeling was great too. Minnie and Hank were a lovely couple and always happy to answer questions, but also not intrusive at all. We also fell in love with the island itself. So much to do! We spent most of our time diving, snorkeling, caving, hiking, eating at our favorite restaurant Star Island, chatting with friendly locals at the Captain's Table, and enjoying massages not once, but twice, on Minnie's seaside retreat property by the mobile massage unit.. We are already looking for dates we can get away to spend a few more days on the Brac.

Minnie's rental is comfortable and cozy, right on the beach, and perfect for beach-combing, sunset watching, or reading in hammocks all day. Minnie lives upstairs but you never know she is there unless you want her to be. I traveled solo and liked having her nearby to chat with and answer questions, but also appreciated that she was very respectful of the solitude I was seeking. It is a centrally located so it was easy to explore the island from. The private beach with beach chairs and hammocks was large enough to not feel like I was missing out if I did nothing but stay there all day. The kitchen and internet were nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Minnie's place on Cayman Brac is the perfect place to get away from it all and now when I think of my "happy place", I think of Minnie's place!
