I honestly would not stay anywhere else in the Caymans. THIS HOUSE is absolutely wonderful.
From the minute we walked in the door, we felt such peace and relaxation. The owners have made it such a nice retreat, with everything you need to watch tv, cook, sit and relax, or even play games with your loved ones!
The location is PRIME. It is only a few minutes from the best restaurants and activities the island has to offer.
Still don't know what to do on the island? They have loads of books and tips on how to explore and spend your time. They even provide a local cell phone to make calls and get things set up! And another house phone that makes calls to USA/Canada/Mexico for free.
We loved Cayman Brac, even more than the Grand Cayman. It's a sleepy island where you get to make your own adventure. Tons of hiking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and walking trails to experience. Some good shopping. And several really good restaurants.
This is the perfect place to go and disconnect from the stress of life. In all honesty, I have never been so relaxed on a vacation or come back so refreshed. And I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island. After driving around and seeing it all, including the resorts, I firmly believe this is the absolute best spot.
Book and GO!

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful nights at Escape from Reality in March. The photos are very accurate, and we fell in love with the open plan, spaciousness and décor of the home. The furniture was extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked with everything you could need to cook in, as well as basic spices, etc. and the décor is lovely. The views are beautiful from everywhere in the house, and even on a rainy day, it was pleasant to sit watching the sea and the birds from the interior.
We loved breakfasting on the deck every morning and watching the Brown Booby's and assorted other birds flying by and preening on the rocks right in front of the house, and evenings on the deck with a glass of wine watching the moon over the water were awesome. We played music on the deck at night and worried that we might be disturbing our neighbours in the smaller cottage in front, but the house completely blocked the sound and as soon as we walked around the side of our house, we couldn't hear the music at all.
Escape from Reality is well situated on the island, and was close to restaurants, the public beach, etc. Unfortunately, it was a little too windy during our stay to get much snorkelling in, but we did manage a couple of trips, the highlight of which was seeing southern rays and a spotted eagle ray. We explored a few of the caves, did the Bluff walk where we saw loads of booby's and a couple of chicks, explored the entire island, stopping in at the Pioneer Bakery for their famous cinnamon rolls (a must do!), and a trip to NIM Things where you should allow for a long visit with Tenson! He had wonderful stories to share of growing up on the Brac.
We would definitely recommend a stay at Escape From Reality - it is one of the nicest homes we have rented.

We have spent 3 very nice days at Escape from Reality . We appreciated a lot this nice house with marvelous view to ocean . EXCELLENT STAY
