Description: Situated on the edge of the Rainforest Bananas is casual fun dining in a magical setting. We take our food very seriously but it is good home cooking prepared by hard working local ladies, not fancy or Gourmet.. However our menu is very creative and we use only fresh ingredients and where possible free range organic produce and meats. We have Magnificent Sunset views from our Firefly lounge and a superb selection of cocktails and old rums and a small selection of cuban Cigars.

The restaurant is located in a residential area and reminds me of a tree house setting. We had excellent seafood. My husband's fresh snapper was expertly prepared. The cocktails were delicious and they have a nice selection of aged rums. Service was excellent. They also have a charming boutique attached. It was open during dinner hours so you can browse during your dinner courses.

Our party was treated wonderfully at Bananas! We came across from St Kitts and although it was quite a drive to get there, it was worth it! We had a fixed menu as we were with a fairly large party of 12 so we didn’t have free rein of the menu, but our food was delicious. Plantain chips with black bean dip - delish! Conch Mac n Cheese - decadent! Coconut cake - very good! My only regret is that we weren’t there in time to see the sun set!

Bananas was our first stop from the airport to our hotel.
This place is very enchanting and the food & service were great. Tucked away in a tropical garden with local art on the walls, it was a a relaxing lunch spot.

Food was good, just not a big selection. Everyone said you had to go. So we did. again not on my top 10. drinks were good and different. Someone asked if I would go back, not not really. You make your own choice because it is a top place by reviews..

From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left, everything was 5 stars. I don’t give 5s easily and a great grilled cheese and tomato soup can earn a 5 if it’s spectacular.

With this being said everything we ate was wonderful. Quality ingredients served up by friendly staff made this a hit with our group. We could not find fault with any dish or preparation. The lobster mac and cheese might be the best I have ever had. Oh, even the rolls are to die for.

Well done you guys well done. Thank you for the birthday fun too!
