Was meeting family in town and bumped into this cafe. Ordered two smoothies and a blueberry scone. Scrumptious. Will visit next time on the island.

If you are by chance looking for a quick coffee stop...then this place might fit your bill....its no starbucks, but it does have fairly decent coffee and a variety of sweet buns etc. its very small and airconned. Service is sometimes slow due to the fact that everything is done from scratch.....and the steam coffee machine is a very small unit. There is some effort needed here on the part of the owners and operators to spruce up the overall service....its a tad slow and overpriced for what you get....having said that, I have gone back several times and although I rate it as average....I would recommend it for morning coffee.....

I had a bacon, chicken and cheese sandwich, it was toasty and tasty. The cranberry muffin and oatmeal raisin cookies were also fresh and tasty. Unfortunately there was expresso coffee so many had raved about, so had to settle for ok brewed coffee. Quite a few people circled thru while I waited for my sandwich and said it was the only place for a good coffee in town. Beware, it seems to close early as the day before I went around 5 and it was already closed.

Sugar n Spice cafe serves the best coffee on the island. The chef/owner makes superb pastries and cakes. Sandwiches, wraps, teas, coffees, lattes and all served with a SMILE by the friendly staff.
