Chaud Creole's Sunday buffet is excellent - both in terms of variety and value for money. There is almost every style of Trinidadian food and the desserts are out of this world.

The food was unique, with local Trinidad food and wonderful, the service was warm and friendly and the environment was Trinidad at it's best. Well worth it.

Let me first say that I never particularly liked this venue when it was other restaurants. But the designer for Chaud Creole has attempted to open up the space and warm it up with a cheerful palette.

This was a great choice for Sunday Brunch with friends. Nice bright dining room, well trained staff and live music. The space was very comfortable and had an overall sense of feeling good. The buffet was all things Trini from Pumpkin Soup and Shark and Bake to Sunday Beef Roast and Macaroni Pie and all the delicious dishes in between. All the local favourites.

Its a great place to come with a visitor to introduce them to all the Trini dishes. Its also perfect for your friends and family just to reconnect to all these local dishes that they love so much. Every dish tasted wonderful and was perfectly prepared.

I visited Chaud Creole last night 21.04.2011with a friend as it was her birthday and she had first choice of venue.
Local creole food is substantially affordable anywhere else on this island, so of course when CH Creole opened, I know I was anxious to see what Khalid could produce, but this restaurant is not doing it. The ambience is okay, the service - more training required. The food -we ordered Oxtail Pepperpot $125.TT & stewed chicken $70.TT The food overkilled with cilantro, could not taste anything else. I honestly could get a by far better creole stew chicken from Veni Mange or even Woodford Cafe.
It hurts when you pay $40.TT for a tiny side bowl of Callaloo or even $40TT for a bowl of red kidney beans.
In future if I have to spend over $800.TT on Creole food - it will not be a this restaurant.
