Good food, macaroni pie , corn pie, Shepard’s pie , red beans, lentils, lamb chicken , pork, or tail, coo coo , crab and dumplings on saturdays. Soups like cow heel, and beef usually with provision and dumplings. They also open on many public holidays. There’s an air conditioned seating area inside as well. All in all a great go-to place for food.

Now I’m hungry again -_-

I visited around my birthday for lunch here and it is always excellent. The macaroni pie is always tasty, pork and callaloo as well. The prices are a bit on the higher side, the quantity sometimes need to improve. I will revisit whenever I'm in the area.

Had an lunch there in June and April 2017 and was very favorably impressed each time. It is more of a take-away restaurant but there is some in-door seating if you don't mind eating out of take-way containers. They offer several meats, starch, soup (sometimes) and vegetable dishes, and single-serving desserts, juices and soft-drinks. The oxtail and beef stews are particularly tasty and the callaloo; but everything that my friends and i had was tasty and really hit the spot. Portions are regular size and although there is a list of suggested meals, customers can choose whatever is available and design their own meal. Both visits were on Sunday midday and there was a line of about eight persons waiting to order and collect meals. The process is fast and meals are not costly (about TT$60-$80 per person / US$10-13). a very good choice also for visitors who would like a taste of Trinidadian home-style meals.
