We did the morning half-day snorkel trip. We stopped to watch some dolphins on the way to the reef (Little Joe and his mom), which was exciting. We have done a lot of snorkeling, and I didn't think the spot where they took us was that great. There was lots of dead and broken coral, and not a huge variety of fish. Also, they didn't say anything to educate people about the do's and dont's - like don't touch or kick the coral, and only wear biodegradable sunscreen, as most sunscreens will kill the coral. I think that it's important to educate people to help preserve the reefs.

After snorkeling, they broke out the rum punch. Let me tell you, that stuff is strong! After a couple cups, I was chatting it up with the iguanas on Iguana Island and having a great time! We had lunch on the boat. The fresh conch salad was good and the sandwiches were fine. I had fun going down the slide and, later, walking the plank. All in all, we had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again. The guys dropped us off at the beach in front of our hotel after, and we headed to a palapa for a nap.

While staying at the Village Renaissance, my wife and two teenage sons took the 1/2 day snorkeling and visit to Iguana Island. They picked us up promptly at 8.30am at our hotel, took a short van ride to the launch site and off we went on the Big Boy with Buff and his crew. After a short ride we were at the reef. We'd never snorkeled but that was no problem. Wow, what an experience!! The reef was unbelievable and the whole snorkeling experience was totally smooth for all of us, even my wife who was a little apprehensive about wearing the mask, etc. After some trips down the slide off the back of Big Boy we then ate some fresh conch salad, cruised up to Iguana Island, watched a conch demonstration and got to explore the island seeing lots of local wildlife (and no shortage of iguanas!). After hanging out on the beach for a bit we were dropped back off the beach of our hotel around 1pm. Folks should be aware that the alcohol flows freely on these trips with all-you-can drink rum punch and beer, and some vacationers on the boat definitely made the best of that. The music was very loud and some got pretty rowdy so I would not recommend this to families with pre-teens or in general, people who wouldn't enjoy being in such a party environment. With that said, I think everyone on our Big Boy boat had a great time thanks to Buff and his crew. My wife cherishes the conch shell they gave her from the lunch. This was one of the biggest highlights of our week in T&C and a must for everyone wanting an experience to remember.

So much fun! The snorkeling tour was amazing, followed by a delicious lunch, water slides and tour of two beautiful islands. Drinks, Music and Dancing. We celebrated my wife's birthday on the tour. Had a great time. The staff is funny and friendly. Captain Buff is the best. Take the larger size cruise with the second deck for a great experience.

This tour was everything and more than we had expected. Our group of seven boarded the bus in the morning and from the time of our hotel departure to the time of our arrival back to the hotel, via boat, we were surrounded by natural beauty and a staff that was very professional, fun and accommodating.

The first thing on the agenda was the boat trip out to a reef The snorkeling was not crowded and the reef was magnificent. Lots of beautiful fish. From there, we spent time on an island where once again we got to enjoy the spectacular scenery. We were also treated to a conch show which was followed by exploring the island and more swimming. Iguanas were easily found and seemed to enjoy photo ops. A barracuda was seen swimming not far from the boat and then ventured off to other grounds.

A conch salad was available for lunch, as well as some meat and vegetarian sandwiches. Rum punch and beer, along with water and soda was made plentiful after snorkeling.

The day began at 8:15 and ended around 1:00- a great trip was had by all.
