“We can't wait to return!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

Like so many others have said, T&C Club is not a bustling place with loads of guests and lots going on. It's a quiet small resort where you can sometimes feel like you're the only guests! We booked a great deal on orbitz with a car. The drive from the aiport is super easy and takes you straight past the IGA supermarket where you can buy everything you need, should you wish to cook your own meals. We were greeted by welcoming staff with cool towels. To our delight, we were upgraded to a first floor ocean front apartment, which was stunning. The poolside apartments are nice but the oceanfront are the best. We travelled with our 2 year old son and he had a great time playing on the deck outside our apartment. The apartments are tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The breakfast was basic but a sufficient start to the day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to return to T&C and will definitely stay at the T&C Club again. Taylor Bay is a perfect beach for young children - Access to the beach is down a rough path on Ocean Point Drive off Chalk Sound Drive. There are usually cars parked by the entrance to the path.

Room Tip: The oceanfront apartments on the first floor are lovely; you feel as if you are in a villa - you can...

I rarely give a perfect rating but our stay here was excellent. If you are looking for lots of action, a swim up bar, spa, kids club etc. then this place is not for you. If on the other hand you want a small B&B type property, quiet , immaculately clean with lovely grounds and a wide almost deserted beach, then this is the place. We spent 10 nights in a wonderful oceanfront suite. Furnishings are modern and tropical themed; there is twice daily maid service. The rate includes a cooked to order breakfast in the on site restaurant which is open for breakfast and lunch.
We loved sitting on our enormous balcony watching the sun set, rum punch in hand. Both the West Bay Club and the Gansvoort are within walking distance to the west. The Coral Gardens snorkeling area and Somewhere restaurant (great fish tacos) are a 2 minute walk to the west. We had a car which allowed us to visit the rest of the island, restaurants and to do grocery shopping when required. There is ample parking.
We walked the length of the beach and checked out other hotels. Though the beach is very nice there is an overdeveloped feel to the "strip" of condotels in Grace Bay. I am sure the various properties are lovely but at various points the beach is narrow and crowded. To each his own, but we were very pleased with our accommodation choice when considering the other options. Our end of the beach was much more tranquil.
The kitchen is outfitted with all basic cookwear and crockery to prepare simple meals. The appliances were relatively new and all in good working order. There are no grocery basics provided however, and a stop at the IGA to get paper towels, dishwashing liquid, salt. pepper, coffee and coffee filters and food items is necessary. We brought our favorite spices etc. from home. Bathroom toiletries are provided by the hotel. The rooms also have free WIFI.
It was difficult to leave the T&CC.The staff is very friendly and everyone seems happy to work there. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to those seeking a quiet, casually elegant retreat on a great stretch of pristine beach. Many thanks to Val at Turks and Caicos Reservations for directing us to this property. It perfectly suited our needs.

Room Tip: Second floor, oceanfront corner suites have very large balconies and great views. Corner suite balco...

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a 3 night stay last week on vacation from our busy lives working in New York City. The staff was extremely accomodating and pleasant from the moment we arrived (welcomed with cold towels and a tasty Rum Punch) until our departure. We had a great oceanview suite that led us out directly onto the path to the ocean. Breakfast(complimentary) was very tasty and the location was perfect for a realxing vacation on the beach, close in proximity to snorkeling, and great locales such as Somewhere on the Beach, etc. I would recommend Turks and Caicos Club to my friends and family and would certainly come back for a future stay. Job well done.

Room Tip: Ask for an oceanview suite

Spent last week at T&C Club and literally cried my last night there. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Rum Punch and cool towels upon arrival. Rebecca and her lovely companion Nonni Bear are always around and talking to the guests. We were on the 2nd floor, oceanfront, corner and enjoyed lovely breezes, views and music wafting over from Bay Bistro at night while we had our after dinner drinks. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything necessary. Complimentary bottle of champagne in the room was a beautiful touch. The place is small, 21 suites and is extremely quiet. No need to race for chairs or umbrellas. Roger, the beach attendant extraordinaire is so friendly and helpful. The staff at the desk made all of our dinner reservations, car arrangements for our day trip to North/Middle and were never too busy to assist. The place is perfect for adults who just want to be quiet. The restaurant is open for complimentary breakfasts which were very good and lunch. Bar is only open until 5, but you have a kitchen so we stocked our fridge. Only wish they had a computer to print boarding passes/check flight status. We will definitely be back to the TC Club. Five Stars for sure!!

Room Tip: ocean front 2nd floor! Left side will bring you the best sunset views.

We are just back from nine beautiful days at TCC in early February 2012. Of all the Caribbean vacations we have had this is was the best and we can't wait to return next year. The beach is one of the finest in the world and was always quiet...not many people around scrambling for chairs or umbrellas. For introverts this is heaven. Terrific snorkeling just a few steps up the beach on a protected reef. The hotel is relatively new and elegant. We stayed in a one bedroom suite second floor with an expansive balcony overlooking the beach. The staff are extremely helpful.

We were extremely happy with our one-week stay here. Ground floor suit was great for easy access to the beach and the porch gave our suite a "cottage" feel. The beach here is the best we've ever encountered and the near-by reef is fantastic for snorkeling. The staff are great here, and very helpful and professional. Restaraunts in the area are great (Somewhere, Mango Reef, Cocco Bistro, Stelle, Hemingways) and we walked to and from most from TCC. Beaches were safe to walk at night which was a real treat for us. Having filtered water from the fridge to drink was another bonus we enjoyed and have never experienced on any island vacation before. This is a very fine place to stay!!!!!

Room Tip: One room suite on the ground floor was great!

My wife and I traveled to T& C from January 21st until January 28th. We stayed at the Turks and Caicos club on the western part of Grace Bay. The accomodations were perfect. We had a 2nd floor ocean front room with a large balcony. The view of the ocean was perfect. The turquoise water is something to behold. We have traveled extensively all over the Caribbean and the water here seems to be more breath taking than anywhere elce in the Caribbean.

The hotel itself is 21 rooms. We stayed in a one bedroom King with all the amenities of home. Full kitchen with all utensils, washer dryer and a full sized bathroom. It was convenient as we cooked a couple of meals in the room and enjoyed cocktails on the balcony. The T&C club was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful with any request. Thank you Mayra, Roger Dodger, Abdul, Stanley, Rebecca and the rest of the wonderful staff.

We did rent a car to get out to explore the island. Quite easy to get around and convenient to have to shop and drive to restaurants. We ate at Shark BItes a few nights(very good), Baci(excellent food), poor service, Seven Star resort on the beach, name escapes me, though food was very good. Shopped at IGA for groceries and did some shopping for grandkids at the Salt Mills.

Weather was terrific. Sunny and 81 degrees daily except for Tuesday, 79 with passing clouds. We had left Boston with snow falling. The Plane(JetBlue Airlines) was deiced and 31/2 hours later we landed and were on the beach an hour later.

All in all a terrific vacation. Turks and Caicos is not cheap but that is no secret. Grace Bay area is 2nd to none. We hope to return soon and stay here again.
