Way beyond my expectations!!! Our waiter Johnson was fantastic! He consistently brought drinks and ice all day long. The food was good. The view was amazing!!! We will absolutely go back again and again!!! The resort is worth 10 stars not 5. I highly suggest going to the spa for couples massage.

This is truly the best resort in the history of all the world! The service! The food! The beaches! It is all absolutely amazing! When we got here, it all began so quickly! They offered us rum punch and regular punch for the kids, and gave us a complementary tour of the whole complex. That night was also Jerk Night, which is the best food I've ever tasted! They had a huge tent festival, and the grilling made the hotel smell amazing!! During the whole week we swam at least 4 times a day in the ocean and pool, and had the best time ever! The snorkeling and paddle boarding, however, was my absolute favorite! They had roped off buoys to restrict you from the part of the reef that is too shallow, and white buoys that restrict your paddle board limit to keep you safe! Everyone thinks this prevents you from seeing the reef well and seeing all the fish, but that's a lie! There are SO MANY beautiful fish at this reef, and each one boasts so many different colors. We probably snorkeled 15+ times in 6 days! My favorite fish was the parrot fish! They are so fat and colorful, they are literally the best! The coolest part of the fish was that they feed right next to the shore so you can literally stand next to them and watch them eat! I had so much fun getting within INCHES maybe even CENTIMETERS away from the fish! My sister and I even got to touch them! There is so much sea life here, the highlight of the trip was probably the barracudas we saw (they don't cause any harm, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THEM! They are scared of you, so you shouldn't be afraid of them) and a pufferfish we saw way out inside the coral! The Hobie Cat was also super amazing, which Lucky and Sisko took us in way out into the deep turquoise clear water! The breeze felt so good and sailing is one of my new favorite things! Overall the service, the activities, the worker named Lucky (who is amazing), and the hotel rooms were absolutely great! I would come back here any day, and everyone should come! Thank you Windsong, you are amazing! 5+++++++ STARS!

We do love superlatives -- especially when they are about our resort! Thank you for your exuberant review. While we are thrilled with all of your compliments, it warms our collective hearts to read these words: "We probably snorkeled 15+ times in 6 days!" Windsong is fortunate to be located on a snorkeling reef and it pleases us when our guests enjoy snorkeling so much. It sounds like you also spent a lot of time enjoying our complimentary water toys -- especially our Hobie Cat and paddle board. We look forward to hosting you again very soon!

We experienced a true LUXURY vacation at the Windsong for our first visit to Provos! The accommodations and service were impeccable and exceeded our expectations. We booked a 2br penthouse and were surprised at check-in to discover they gave us a 3br penthouse with the most spectacular views. The 3br suited us well since we had our little ones in tow and my mom, allowing us to use the 1br just for our baby who takes long naps. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return here. See below for details of our amazing trip, along with some suggestions (none that took away from our experience)

LOVED:

ACCOMMODATIONS - make sure you get an oceanfront and one on a higher floor for beautiful views of the ocean. While the first floor rooms have easy access, we could also see into their rooms from the pool. When we stepped into our room, we walked past a couple bedrooms before we were stunned by the sweeping views of Grace Bay beach and the ocean. The wrap around view is absolutely gorgeous and takes your breath away. The rooms are immaculate - beautiful rooms with high end furnishings, TVs in every room (hardly used), large kitchen with an oven, ample pots and pans, keurig machine, huge fridge and even had a separate ice maker in the wine bar area. Our master br was enormous with another wraparound view and access to the balcony. The master had a large bathroom with a huge shower that had water coming from every direction - loved it, especially after a day at the beach and MANY applications of sunscreen. It also a large walk-in closet with shoe storage, robes, slippers and a safe. The unit came with its own laundry room which was great for the daily laundry we did and the utility sink came in handy for our water shoes. Your personal ROOFTOP - AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! We took advantage of the rooftop almost every evening. The rooftop has several quality lounge chairs, a large table for 8, a bar with additional seating, a hot tub, a fridge and a grill. We used the hot tub a couple times and it heated up to nice hot temp. There is a Weber gas grill (great shape, VERY clean) that we used 3 nights for steaks, hot dogs and more steaks. We had friends over who were staying nearby a couple nights for some lovely dinners and sunset views. We often stayed up late, laying on the lounges and staring up at the stars while listening to the ocean.

STAFF - What an incredible staff!!! Thank you to all the Windsong staff for making our stay that much better. Housekeeping cleaned our unit so thoroughly (no sand whatsoever after Julia came through) and provided us with ample toiletries, Keurig coffee pods and detergent. I left notes for Julia daily for items we were low on and she always came through. The pool staff - Lucky and Sisco and anyone else helping out - were always looking out for you, whether it’s seating, towels, toys, drinks, use of water equipment. I saw Lucky take many groups out on the Hobie cat for long rides. I saw Sisco bringing drinks out to people who were lounging IN the ocean. I watched Sisco save a guy who got stuck in the current on the paddle board and couldn’t make it back on his own. The resort butlers (Randy and Adam) helped us with everything - the tour, luggage, reservations, check out logistics and they went out of their way to find us additional lanterns for the rooftop at night. These guys do whatever they can to make your stay more enjoyable. The front desk was great too - supplied us with band-aids when my daughter got a small cut on her foot. We had issues with our door locks. There are two doors to get into our unit, the first door lets you into the foyer where there is access to two units. After a few issues with the key cards not working (sometimes worked for one lock and not the other), the front desk had maintenance REPLACE both locks and we never had an issue again. You report it, they are on top of it here! PLEASE PLEASE tip the staff to show your appreciation. They really do go above and beyond.

AMENITIES - The hotel is smaller as it is a boutique hotel but really has everything you need. Since it is smaller, I liked how quickly you could get to everything. The POOL was a good size and I loved that the water was warmer, but not too warm. Sometimes it would be chilly when you were out of the pool and felt nicer IN the pool. It is smaller than some of the other resort pools but we never found it to be a problem. It is the ideal size and depth for playing with young kids because adults can stand in every part of the pool. My daughters enjoyed the two waterfalls. The BEACH is spectacular and so convenient to the coral reef. We often snorkeled in the reef in the morning 7:30-8:30 when there was barely anyone out and got to see sea turtles, sting rays and tons of fish. Our 4 year old tried snorkeling a few times and by the 3rd time, she was circling the reef and back. She got to see a sea turtle and it MADE her trip! By mid-morning you start to see all the visitors from other hotels or islands coming to the reef and do so a good amount of foot traffic, but didn’t bother us at all. We liked the narrow beach since our girls loved playing in the sand but hated having sand on them :P They often had to wash their hands in the ocean and the proximity made it nice. There are these stationary circle loungers in the ocean that make it nice to relax in. We took advantage of the kayaks, fins, sand toys and paddle boards. Note: for the paddle boards, start heading out EAST towards the Beaches resort rather than towards the coral reef because the current takes you to the coral reef and we saw many folks frantically trying to avoid the reef while trying to figure out how to use the paddle board. We never had issues with towels or seats at the beach or pool. FOOD - A continental breakfast is included and if you choose to use all 3 options, you will be full. They also provide warm pastries that are delicious. We often took our food and drinks to go to eat breakfast on the balcony with our kiddos who were just waking up, and cooked eggs and bacon that we picked up from the grocery store to supplement. We ordered scrambled eggs once from Jojo’s and it was great. You can also order the food to your room for a $5 fee but we always picked it up after the gym. We dined once for lunch and the food was good, but we did have better food elsewhere. GYM - We worked out in the gym a few times during our stay and it really had everything we needed - treadmills, bike, variety of weights, mats, water and towels. It also had a TV and the volume was up loud enough so you can follow. SHUTTLE - They have a daily grocery shuttle for a small fee that we never used because we rented a car for the first 2 days and last 2 days of our trip for groceries and visiting other restaurants -- go with Grace Bay car rentals since they pick up and drop off at your hotel.

Suggestions…again nothing that hindered our stay:

Jojo’s cafe - I think the major drawback with the hotel is the restaurant. It’s good but if you’re going to pay those prices, you would probably be happier going to another restaurant where you may pay a little more, but the food is that much better (Coco Bistro, Grace’s Cottage or The Deck). I would suggest reducing prices or enhancing the food.
Morning start times - Breakfast isn’t available until 7:30 and the beach activities stand around 8 or so. It would’ve been nice for breakfast to start at 7 or earlier for the early birds, and also be able to have access to the beach items sooner. When we needed fins for our 7:30 snorkel, one of the staff ran somewhere and found keys to get the fins for us - AGAIN, top notch service.

We would return in a heartbeat and stay in the PH…fo sho! Thank you Windsong for an incredible vacation.

Room tip: Get the penthouse and snorkel early!

Your comment, "Stunned by the sweeping views of Grace Bay beach and the ocean, the wrap around view is absolutely gorgeous and takes your breath away" was written such heartfelt emotion. And your words "Your personal ROOFTOP - AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!" left no doubt about your delight with our Penthouse accommodation. You are most decidedly welcome to come back so we can exceed your expectations again!

We just got back from six nights at the Windsong and we couldn't have been more pleased! There were 6 of us including 2 children so we had two suites, and they were both very well appointed with functional kitchens and new appliances. That's a good thing because food on the island is very expensive. We opted to go to the local grocery store (which is an IGA!), but the prices are nothing like back home...$8.80USD for 1 lb of butter! We cooked in twice! It's just a 2 minute walk down the beach to the "Somewhere" restaurant/bar next door, and about a 15 minutes walk down to the island fish fry festival which is on Thursdays. That was cool. Take a cab ride to The Conch Shack on Wednesday, they have live music and great food.

But the best part of the whole trip was the snorkeling and watersports. The resort's beach guys Lucky and Sisko took great care of us. They took us out on the Hobie Cat, and we paddle boarded, floated, and swam our cares away. The coral reef right next to the resort is called Bight Reef. It's actually a national park. I saw parrot fish, a pufferfish, a stingray, and thousands of beautiful fish amongst the coral. Other people have to travel in to snorkel here, but we just get to walk out the back door and there it is!

Also, if you go here be sure to find Adam, the resort butler....well actually he will find you, and everything else that you need while you are here. At no time did any of the staff ever ask about a gratuity or seem to expect one, but we tipped anyway. Note that there is a 10% service charge and a 12% govt tax on everything. How ever much cash you thought you would need, bring twice that much, and guess what it's worth every penny.

Oh and one more great thing about the resort... Since it's not too big, nothing is crowded. The coral reef gets busy sometimes due to people from other resorts coming in, but for the Windsong, it's small, sweet, and awesome.

I hope to make it back again sometime. Thanks for a wonderful time. 5+ stars!

What do we think about your review comment "Windsong, it's small, sweet, and awesome"? We think it's pretty sweet! We found your review down to earth, and very helpful for future visitors to Providenciales and to Windsong. It pleases us that you shared that the "best part of the whole trip was the snorkeling and watersports," describing our proximity to the coral reef as a "walk out the back door." Your enthusiasm makes our job so enjoyable! Please come back to Windsong on your next trip to Turks and Caicos.

First time to the island and so happy we choose windsong resort. The staff is SO friendly and very attentive. They pay attention to every detail and the resort is small enough where they get to know their guest by name and concentrate on customer service. The rooms are modern and clean. We stayed in room 121 on the second floor. Spectacular view and huge balcony. This room did not have ocean front view from the bedrooms but had an amazing balcony view.

You can use all the ocean equipment for free in the ocean to include kayaks, paddle boards and peddle board. We used them all and lucky gave the best instructions. Got up the first time. Randy is the butler and he can set up anything at anytime, down to the smallest detail. We would definitely go back.
