Description: Da Livio is nestled in the heart of Cruz Bay. Offering an exclusive and authentic taste of Italy, we bring you a unique dining experience to the island that's not offered by any other restaurant around. Aside from bringing you a crafted menu, we are also a private distributor of wine and specialty imported goods. Each of our dishes are packed with outstandingly fresh ingredients that are all imported to ensure that we serve our original recipes the way they are indented. Choose from our handmade pastas and sauces to our brick oven pizza- everything is made from scratch, each time. From the Caputo flour, imported from Napoli and used in our dough- to the Faema E61 that is the only one on in the entire islands, come taste the difference and quality with us at Da Livio!

“good food but tourist trap”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

Had dinner at Da Livio with two other couples. The food was very good but the feeling we got was they were trying to get us to order expensive items (for example when I asked the server about a red wine that was on the list for about $45 he said he would not recommend that and tried to steer to a wine for $80. The when we got our bill a tip of 20% was added to the bill but not as the last item but buried in the middle of the food items. Clearly, this was done so that we would not notice it and leave a tip on the total. We'll never go back to this place.

“Surprise Italian Hideaway in St. John”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

Tucked away across from the Lime Inn. Da Livio offers a wonderful selection of fresh home made pasta dishes and now thin crusted Pizza's. A nice change from the usual menus of Mahi Mahi etc. Worth a Try.

“Pizza to Die For!”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

Their brick oven pizza is one of the best we've had - including state side! The rest of the menu (although a little pricey) has many delicious selections as well....believe me, if you go once, you will go back!

“Insulting - especially if you are Italian!”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

Don't ask for extra cheese in this place it will not only add bucks to your bill but insult to your palate- chef feels his taste buds are better than yours. When we first sat down told of 4 to 5 items not available on the menu. Salad dressing could hardly be tasted. I grew up on home made Italian food - he should go back home and get back to his roots. Forgetaboutit!
