My husband and I stayed here for his birthday. The accommodations were awesome! It rained most of the time but we didn’t mind staying in the room relaxing especially since we had a full kitchen and perfect view of the Lagoon. We did a couples massage by the pool (the best we’ve ever had!) and the staff booked a snorkeling excursion for us which was amazing as well. Everyone was super nice and the rooms were clean. Absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back to visit.

Taking safety measures
The stay here was amazing! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Whatever we needed, they provided. The room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The beach at my back door was totally unexpected. The hotel is also situated in the Sandyport community which has a little of everything; you don't have to leave if you don't want to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
We truly loved the resort and staff, everyone was incredibly friendly. Everything was also very clean. We loved our stay!
The only thing wrong was that two toilets weren't working well, none of the three fridges were working either and the handle of the dishwasher was glued on and rusty. Pretty much needed an applicance update or more check ups. BUT, once we told them about it they came to fix it immidiately, so we were good to go.
Very nice staff, quite location most essential stores, bank,gas station, gym, restaurants and beaches are within walking distance. I would recommend this resort for both family and couples wanting a fantastic experience.
We are family of 6, rented a room facing the lagoon, private beach, kids loved the pool and slides, very nice team, a full kitchen (so we cooked), and there are laundry and drying machines (you should bring the detergent). It looks more like a small village than a resort, they have restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, we did there the 5th day Covid-19 test required by the Bahamian's Gov. Everyone keeps social distance and do great efforts.
They even communicated with us (before we arrived) via WhatsApp:)

We loved to stay in Sandyport Beach Resort. The best thing for us was to be able to walk out directly to the beach from our apartment, laying down in the dreamy hammocks, and the wonderful customer service of all the personnel.
Details that could be improved: showers could be updated, tennis rackets.
New idea: would be very nice to build a mini golf between the basketball and tennis courts.
We can't wait to visit again soon!
