“Loud and unfriendly staff, it smells, screaming babies throughout the night”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 January 2012

It is loud, a baby screamed every night throughout the whole week that we were there, apparently there are long term rentals for ex pats from the middle east, pakistan, etc...an array of exoctic guests.

You are normally awakened by the staff when they come in to work, the managemnt is unfriendly and arrogant. Especially the office Manager who appears to be foreign european.

No restaurant or bar after 4pm in the afternoon so you must eat elsewhere on Paradise Island which is very expensive. Therefore you must have a rental car or take a taxi to the main island.

Room Tip: No seaviews available, tr to get as far away fro the office/pool area. entrance as possible

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property. We understand that our success depends on meeting and exceeding the expectations of our guests and we regret that you had such challenges during your stay. We offer our apologies for for the inconvenience.
We do have many residents from all over the world staying at our property. The majority are bankers working for prestigious offshore banks here in Nassau. There are many dining options on Paradise Island within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from our property.

We just returned from a week-long holiday and stayed at this hotel. It was clean, reasonably nice but dated. The kitchen had everything you needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained and the pool area was nice, but cold. It was farther than I expected from Atlantis but still very walkable. Everything was expensive. One thing that always bugs me (and not just here) but why do they have carpet in tropical places? That's gross.

Room Tip: bring a bit of dishwashing liquid in case the market is closed when you arrive. i like to re-wash ev...

We received a frosty welcome from the office when we checked in so got a poor first impression but then found that the location, the room/suite and general ambience were extremely good. In view of the high prices charged elsewhere on the island - e.g Atlantis - the price here is very reasonable. As usual you need to be aware of the silly practice of adding gratuities to the basic price so make sure you know what's include and what isn't; this of course is the US influence which sadly seems to have pervaded the whole of the Bahamas. A well equipped kitchen, even including a kettle, means that you can eat in perfectly comfortably if you wish. You will need to go to the main island, however, to find a real supermarket for supplies.

Great value, close to all the fun of Paradise Island, but quiet and secluded. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well maintained. The property is lush and tropical which enhances your stay from being just another hotel.

Clean, friendly, good value, well meaning staff. All good attributes and all you really need for a weeks holiday. If you want the more glitz it's within walking distance and the beach and beach bars with their noise is just out of earshot. We went for a quick weekaway and found exercise in the walks and food better than expected. We didn't buy groceries or rent a car but still did more than we had expected. I would re-visit this property, I feel that I would be welcomed back as family, both by the management and the pets.

Room Tip: The rooms are suites, ours had a backyard that was mostly private. We were only visited by the staf...

Great little place to stay – cheap and cheerful. The kitchen was a bonus because we don’t really enjoy spending a lot of money on restaurants. My wife asked about groceries and the front desk lady recommended we order groceries by FoodStore2Go online. It was a great service and saved us a trip to the store. The weather was pretty bad while we were there but we were close enough to the Atlantis resort so we went over and enjoyed the property. Overall a great little place a little old but aren’t we all haha.

This was the first time my fiancee and I stayed at a hotel that wasn't all inclusive. The accommodations were very nice, spacious, clean for a one bedroom suite. We were impressed to get to our suite, and find some breakfast items for the next morning stocked in our refrigerator. Although we had to pay for these items, it was the convenience of not having to run out the morning of or the night before to get some groceries for breakfast. We loved the convenience store on the premises as well. There was also a small restaurant where you could order lunch sandwiches that were very tasty and didn't leave you disappointed. Management was very helpful and kind. My luggage did not arrive with me, nor have I ever seen it since my trip to Nassau, however the management was helpful to provide me with some toiletries. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, Casino, Marina, Restaurants, and Shopping. We highly recommend Stuart's Cove Snorkel Tour. It was amazing, and I have to say Bahamas has the best snorkeling I have ever experienced. Bring money....as Paradise Island is expensive for food and shopping. Ben and Jerry's chunky monkey ice cream rocks!!!

Room Tip: Suites range from one bedroom, two or more. I'm sure all the other suites are just as comfortab...
