“The beauty of Exuma and this property is beyond unbelievable.”

The property that this house was on was the best spot on the island. We explored one of the days and there is no need to ever leave this place other than going to the market to get food. The house was immaculately clean. Very well maintained and it had everything you need for your stay. There was shampoo and conditioner but you need to bring your own body wash/soap. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans and utensils you need.
But the best part was the water in front of the house. Stunning. There aren't enough words to describe how beautiful it was. We spent hours kayaking and swimming and going to Moriah Cay across the bay and in the 4 days we spent on the property we only saw a family of 4 for about an hour on Moriah Cay. The rest of the time we had the little sand bar to ourselves. It was like being all alone in the world. Exactly what we needed.
Any time we had a request for Charlie (which wasn't often) he would respond right away.
Charlie picked us up and dropped us off at the airport so we didn't need to worry about trying to find the place in the dark on the evening we arrived. And because Charlie knew we were arriving after the grocery store closed he offered to have his wife pick up some things at the market for us so that we could prepare ourselves dinner and breakfast the next day before going to the market ourselves and stocking up for the rest of the week. That was incredibly helpful.
This was a very quiet island. Except for the guests staying in the unit next to ours we never saw any other tourists in the town we stayed in.
We also booked the swimming with the pigs tour with 4Cs Adventures. That was the reason we went to Exuma in the first place. Definitely recommend that too!
I'm so happy we stayed on Exuma instead of Nassau and renting this home was 10x better than being in a resort because we wanted to be alone in a non touristy area. We're already planning our next stay here. Definitely coming back!

“A Slice of Paradise!!!”
Reviewed October 21, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Absolutely stunning, one of the nicest spots on the Island. Centrally located and a great base for exploring the rest of Exuma (not that you will want to leave). Charlie is fantastic, so friendly and helpful couldn't have asked for a nicer host! He takes such great care of the property. The Villa was spotless, the cleanest rental we've stayed in. Extremely comfortable and it had everything we needed. As an added bonus you can also rent a car or boat from Charlie.

We had such an awesome time, the best part for us was taking out the kayaks everyday and exploring all the nearby Cays with Man-O-War and Moriah Harbour Cay National Park right on your doorstep! You can kayak for hours without seeing a single soul it's like having your own deserted Island. Spotted loads of marine life and loved seeing the resident turtle who always hung out around the dock. After hours of exploring there was nothing better than coming back and relaxing in the Gazebo, swaying on the hammock or floating out on the water in one of the lilos . The gazebo is right on the water with breathtaking views.

We got caught by Hurricane Joaquin the day we were due to fly back to the UK and had to stay an extra 3 days. Charlie was amazing! We had run out of food so he brought us loads of groceries & supplies to see us through the storm. Even venturing out during the storm to bring us home cooked meals (loved the conch & delicious chicken burgers) and checking up on us regularly to make sure we were ok. We would like to say a very special thanks to Charlie and his family for taking such great care of us! We are already dreaming about coming back to Exuma & staying at Bay View again.

“Absolutely Amazing!”
Reviewed October 8, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

My husband and I stayed a week from 13-20 September 2015. This has been the most amazing experience ever! Thank you Charlie Rolle for your hospitality! We enjoyed the ocean caught fish, limes, guavas and conch. Loved every minute enjoying swimming off your dock and kayaking. The house was amazing and so very comfortable. We hope to come back for another get away. Thank you for everything!

Our 3rd visit to Exuma and 1st time to stay at this place. Loved it so much and wouldnt consider any place else when we return.....it is what everyone else says it is-beautiful, clean, private-has everything at your fingertips if you want to kayak right from the property, swim, snorkel, explore, rent a car, rent a boat, grill out, chill out at the water on the dock and under cover if you want...some v cool beach bars/restaurants not very far away, some v beautiful secluded beaches all around. We drove all over the place as we like to see as much as we can and enjoy it all. Recommend the island and place as long as you like low key, and dont need to be waited on hand and foot by butlers and waiters etc . Our group was husband & wife and 16 y.o. who loves it there...even without a friend in tow -his 3rd time too. It is basically awesome

“Outstanding Private Island Getaway”

Our stay here was phenomenal! It feels like you have the whole island to yourself. The water is clear blue and you can see all the way down. There are tons of little islands around you can swim or kayak too. You can also rent a boat from Charlie and take it out to all of the islands. Our favorite days there were when we had the boat. We would take it in town early in the morning to go grocery shopping and then take it out to go snorkel or fish around different islands. The grocery is only about a 20 minute boat ride away. When we went fishing we found an awesome spot on an island past the Man O War Cay. We used the squid bait that Charlie gave us and it worked perfectly. We caught tons of fish and took them back to cook for dinner. You can gut the fish yourself or Charlie can help you. We had never done it before and he helped us out and cleaned our biggest catch which was a grouper. Also when you are cleaning the fish sharks will come up and eat your scraps left over! It is awesome feeding the sharks there. There is also a big turtle that will come up that you can feed too. We saw barracudas, sharks, dolphins, sting ray, and tons of other species as well there.
The villa is super clean and feels like a home away from home. You are supplied with everything you need to cook or eat with in the house. And if you need anything Charlie and his wife were always happy to help, and his house was only about 50 yards away in case you needed anything. Taking a rental car out is fun as well. You can go into town and explore or just explore the island. Charlie also offers to pick you up from the airport and to drop you off which is very convenient. He was so kind to take us to get food after our long flight there. He also supplies you with a 5 gallon jug of water which is super convenient. Our stay there was awesome and we hope to come back soon. Everything there is so beautiful and you won't want to leave.

“Relaxing vacation with a beautiful view”

The Location

Rolle Town is conveniently located about 20 minutes from the airport. The property is beachfront and oceanfront. The locals told me that Rolle Town is the most beautiful part of the island to stay and now I know why. The water is different tones of blue and turquoise almost fake looking but in a good way. From your living room window, patio, and gazebo you can see the water.

The Beach and Water

The beach and the water are hard to beat. The pictures are great but to really appreciate it you have to be there in person. The turquoise waters of different tones and the white sands are excellent.

The Villa

The villa is very clean. The villa is equipped with ceramic tile throughout and it has a full kitchen with pots and pans. There is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo. The guest room has two beds and the master has one. Living room has a TV and DVD player. But really when you get to the villa you won't spend a ton of time in the villa because of how beautiful the water and sand is. Carry the kayak to the water and go over to the sand bar and hang out for a while or go to the nearby Cay across the water. The views are breathtaking.

Charlie's brother in law goes fishing all of the time and if you catch him in the afternoon you can buy his fresh catch of lobster and fish. It's awesome.

The Host

Charlie lives only a house away. He leaves you to enjoy your vacation but is still there at the drop of a hat to help you with whatever you need. Charlie is truly a giving person. I don't know of many people that I have met that are as nice as Charlie. He knows most of the people on the island so if you need to book a boat tour or something, Charlie is your guy to help. Charlie likes to surprise his guests with gifts and I won't tell you what so it doesn't ruin the surprise.

Charlie, our family can't thank you enough. We had a great time. THANK YOU

Great location, great accommodation and a great host. The place had everything you could need and Charlie was more than happy to help with anything - even lending us bikes to use during our three week stay. The kayaks were also good for exploring the area and we saw so many species swimming around the villa - jacks, snappers, barracudas, rays, turtles, sharks and even a dolphin. The day he took us fishing was great fun and we caught more bones than on any of our DIY days. It was easy to hire a car from Charlie on the days we needed it and being collected from the airport was lovely as Charlie gave us a running commentary of places to go whilst on route to the villa.
