We were delighted with everything about this property: views, home comforts, well appointed kitchen, cleanliness, patio garden, village location with restaurants and plenty to see and do in the area. If I were to visit Northern Ireland again I would certainly re-book Water's Edge Apartments. It was everything it claimed to be and more.
The apartment exceeded our expectations, as described by previous guests the view over the estuary is superb and you sit and watch the changing tides and the clouds on the Mourne Mountains. Apartment extremely well appointed and spotless. Despite a radiator thermostat breaking down Josie got a repair within a short space of time which was a miracle as it was a bank holiday weekend.well done Josie and Darian for making our holiday so enjoyable.
What a beautiful apartment! It is located in a relatively recent but very tasteful development on the old Quay in Dundrum - I believe it is in the block with the best views, looking out across Dundrum Bay to the Murlough Nature reserve with the Mournes in the distance. Even when the mountains are shrouded in mist and cloud (as they were for three days of our stay!) there is so much to see in the Bay - the constantly changing scenes as the tide comes in and out, exposing the mud-flats with a wealth of bird-life, the sight of the wind whipping snow-flurries across the ripple-marked sand.
Lovely warm comfortable flat, well-equipped. Lots to do in the neighbourhood.
Really enjoyed our time in the apartment. Everything we needed was available and a person to help only minutes away. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely comfortable beds, facilities for indoor and outdoor eating - we especially enjoyed eating outdoors. Everything was spotlessly clean, with a modern yet traditional feel.
Lovely fresh sea air and great walks in the area - beach and shops within walking distance.
Lots to see and do, on our three nights we visited Dundrum castle, shopped in Newcastle, visited Murlough Bay nature reserve, went on a day trip to Exploris, and enjoyed numerous walks, including along the disused railway.
Would recommend and would love to visit again!
