An absolute gem of a hotel. We stayed here for three nights and didn't want to leave!!!

The room was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious - I'm not quite sure how many times I said 'my compliments to the chef'. The homemade wheaten bread was a particular favourite!

The staff were fantastic and really friendly and had plenty of suggestions of things to do.

I'll be back again and can't wait already!

A great stay here when we went to McNean restaurant. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay. We had the attic room and it was massive. Nicely decorated. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, could not fault anything in the place. The breakfast was nice with a good varied options on offer. well done customs house country inn.

We stayed as part of a driving tour of the North West. We usually aim for restaurants with rooms, or small hotels and Customs House seemed to fit the bill. The bar and breakfast areas were excellent, whenever we arrived we ordered a drink in the bar. A pint and a gin and tonic, this was the start of the surprising sophistication, a selection of gins were available with a selection of tonic waters and several different garnishes. So, a Shortcross Gin with Schwepps tonic was ordered and served with a wonderful collection of juniper berries and dressed with fruit in a spectacular glass. We had chosen a room upgrade and ended up in room 8. Which is at the top of the house. Ginormous heavily dormered room with severe sloping ceilings and two large windows. The room also had an ante-room set as a small sitting room and a large walk in closet and an en-suite bathroom. Beautifully decorated throughout. There is a lift to take people to the top floor. Our breakfast was excellent served in the breakfast room. Reasonable choice of food options and again surprising sophistication with extra options which are more common in large "luxury" hotels, but in Customs house they were all available. Fruit, fresh porridge, kippers, smoked salmon, as well as all sorts of the usual breakfast options. Really nice. Other nice touches were their own breads and confitures which were available to purchase both ready made and in the case of the bread in 'kit' form ready to add wet ingredients. One little tiny frustration was with the reception area which is a bit random. It is not staffed and there were no polite notices indicating what guests should do to get someone's attention.

Room tip: Room 8 was huge and the highest in the building, but it does have sloping ceilings

We had a lovely overnight stay here in September. From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was perfect. Alan (the manager) was an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Bar is nice and relaxed and the food in the restaurant was excellent, menu has changed since we last dined here and it is really well put together, great choice, good portion size and good value for money. The Junior Suite was huge, lovely fittings and very comfortable bed. The choice at breakfast was great and the traditional irish breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for later in the year!

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in the area.We had 2 different rooms (Fri night and Sun night)...a suite (Room 1) and the Junior Suite (Room 8) Both rooms were well furnished with the former being more luxurious than the latter. However, Room 8 is a good bit more spacious and comes equipped with a couch and two armchairs. Room 1 has an extra large and comfortable bed and a very up to date bathroom. The rooms are quiet and though the Custom House is on the main street there is very little disturbance from traffic noise. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was of a high standard with fresh fruit and a choice of hot dishes. Service was good and efficient. We had dinner there on one evening and it was really very good...delicious food especially the lamb. On arrival we noticed a selection of fresh scones and pastries on sale in the bar...good to have them available when you book in in the afternoon. The Custom House is deceptive in appearance. On the outside it looks like a typical small town bar and lounge but there are a lot of gems to be discovered on the inside! It's a good base for visiting the Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh National Park and Mc Nean Bistro in Blacklion...a few hundred metres up the road.

Room tip: Room 8 on 3rd floor is a spacious Junior Suite and very quiet.
