Stayed for one night in room with outside decking area overlooking the loch, what a view to wake up to! Room really lovely, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful location. Prices very reasonable and food good. Dined in the restaurant, plenty of choice. Breakfast really good too. Very welcoming and would stay again.

Room Tip: Room overlooking the loch is a must

Driving past we popped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised as it doesn't look particularly inviting from the road. The food was of good quality and value, and service was good. It wasn't great weather when we were there but can imagine it is beautiful there when the weather is nice as you can sit outside (back of the restaurant) next to the lake.

Stayed one night, that was enough. Left at 1st light. The toilets on the camping and caravan field were absolutely filthy, mud, water (?) and faeces covered the floor and toilets, the womens toilet and showers had no lock so birds had got in and done their business all over. Both womens and gets showers had bare electric cables poking out of the walls. The site itself was quite cramped and run down and had the feel of a dodgey back street second hand scrap car and caravan dealership with cars and caravans for sale all over the place. The site was noisey at night not only from the busy A75 only yards away but also loud drunk campers shouting and playing music (?) until the small hours. Food in the bar was average but bared little if any resemblance to the descriptions on the menus. Had to send both meals back due to items missing from both plates. Views of the Loch were pleasant and there was plenty of bird life as long as you like Ducks. Would definately not stay again until the amenities are extensively upgraded. Very disappointing stay

Not only just a "motel". Room was very, very clean, comfortable, high standard, prices was reasonable, staff very nice and helpful. Bar open late ours. We just stayed for one night in room no1,no loch view but we enjoyed a lot that place. At the morning we decided stay all the day and we left at evening. Atmosphere this place is amazing and the loch is very picturesque. Place is kids friendly so You could`t expect a absolute quiet.

We stayed at the apartment for a week and enjoyed the beautiful views, with stunning scenery and lots of bird life. The apartment itself is lovely and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite), all very clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves really good food and the bar prices are very reasonable. Steve and his family who run the motel are very nice people and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend the motel to anyone and will be returning next year.

Stayed at Lochview many times, and would recommend it. Ideal location beautiful rooms, food excellent with daily special board. Spent many wonderful days on the loch. We liked it that much we now own a caravan that we keep there permanently along with a jetski and go up most weekends all year round. You will get a warm welcome from the owner Steve... Give it a try

We stayed at the Lockview in one of their rooms - they also have chalets and caravans. The room was modern and well furnished. French windows opened onto decking just a few feet from the Loch. Lots of ducks and birds to watch. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent, with decent sized portions. Our evening meal was fine too. Looks as if the locals use this place for family do's etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the rooms overlooking the Loch.
