A very family like hotel, placed at the end of a dead-end street, so no trafic noise at all. walking distance to downtown Sæby, with more restaurants. Nice service, nice rooms, all overlooking the garden and the "Sæby Å". Handmade danish breakfast with inhouse made jam, organic bread, cheese, cold cuts and soft boiled eegs, all in all a terrific good breakfast. Rooms nice, clean and no electronic booking system, it's hand written in a book, and it works !!!

A wonderfull stopover in any season. The property is beautiful and the hostpitality is second to none. Lovely breakfast with quality local produce served in a setting that makes you feel at home. Camilla is very charming and welcomes you like family. She provides a nice selection of wine , beer and spirits with cracker cognacs and specialist sipping rums.
Roomsand beds are very nice with lovely timber finishes and white linen.

A home away from home.

Room tip: Ask for a view of the river and the apple tree

It's been there for ages. With a beautiful location close to center of Sæby. Just a tiny, slow river in between. A redbricked house is inside newly re- decorated by the new owner. A first class breakfast with all the best on one plate gives you a strong feeling: This is my day! Wonderful rooms with classy furnitures You'll never regrett a visit to Aahoy. The new owner's passion for giving you the best - makes the whole difference

The lady owner manages it beautifully and have best of the breakfast to offer. The rooms are big and clean. And near to saeby main Street thought saeby itself is very quiet .
Otherwise nice place to go.

This was a gem in Saeby. It is close enough to walk to shopping, restaurants and the shore. We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The breakfast is a typical Danish breakfast - homemade bread, eggs, cheese, meats, preserves, yogurt and granola. The rooms are all different, which I loved. Ours was small, but very cozy with everything you need. Hairdryer available upon request, but only shampoo provided, so bring your own soap, etc. This B&B is located right on the river/stream running through Saeby and the yard and gardens are beautiful. It was chilly when we were there, so we didn't get to use the outside much, but the sunroom where breakfast is served is wonderful. Places to sit and read or visit. Hot water is available with coffee and tea. The only thing I think I'd add would be a small refrigerator in the common area. We had to store our cold items in his private kitchen and it's not as easy to access as other B&Bs we've stayed in.

Room tip: Request a room facing the river. Also, the first floor rooms have patios. The upper rooms don't always have a place to sit outside.
