At "Casa cu Zorele" we had one of those moments we'll always remember with pleasure. The owners were very kind and interested in having nice and interesting conversations with all guests in their own languages (we discovered that the owner is able to speak English, German and French, of course the Romanian is native:)), as at the time we were there, we were the only Romanians.
We were accommodated to "Crit 50" which belongs to the same owners. Is in the same village and is even better to stay there is it is more quiet, even though the noise's is almost missing from the area. The disadvantage is that for the breakfast and dinner you have to go to "Casa cu Zorele", 10-15 min by walking...The house is nicely refurbished, being equipped with old reconditioned furniture (I felt like being in my childhood, visiting my grandparents) but having at the same time all the necessary conditions for the "very modern era". Very clean and comfortable location.

Room Tip: Do not hesitate to stay at "Crit 50" as well!

It is very easy to define. Lovely accommodation, lovely hosts, lovely food (fantastic homemade traditional food), very comfortable sleep. The main house it is fantastic, but the new ones refurbish make you feel like been back 100 years ago (but with the facilities of 21st century. They have refurbish a house respecting how it was, but adding a bathroom, of course ;-)
I’ll go back for sure!

Room Tip: for groups try to rent the new refurbish one. For couples remain at main house

We spent 2 nights at this lovely pension and wish to have time to stay more!! The owners took very much care of keeping the traditional Saxon style and the original style and materials where possible, but adding necessary amnesties for a comfortable stay. All rooms have new en-suite bathrooms with all comfort. Our room had the original wood floor which was not flat and has been let on purpose like this - nice touch. Food and wine were excellent - the owners cooks traditional dishes with a modern touch accompanied by a good selection of wines. Casa Crit 50, belonging to the same owners worth also a try.- We will definitely return to try it.

The setting is superb, the food was absolutely delicious and locally sourced, traditional but with almost always with a twist that gives it an unique character. The owners are very nice and helpful. You get a room in a traditional Saxon house with traditional (but new) furniture and 20 century utilities. Do not expect a TV - people come here to run from the urban stress, including the news. The village is quiet and quite exotic for foreigners, not touristy at all. The rural Transylvanian landscapes around Crit are spectacular. There are also nice things to see around.

We strayed 2 nights here and experienced the most remarkable stay of our 12 day trip to Romania. The rooms were appointed with typical local furniture and were large and spacious. The hosts went out of their way to give us a memorable experience of living on a historic farm, but with modern amenities in the 4 guest rooms. Breakfast and dinner was included in our stay and fantastic. All of the produce is raised in their own organic garden with fresh salads and vegetables plentiful. Fresh bread, homemade jam and omelets enhanced the breakfasts, while delicious soups, meats and apple desserts shown at dinnertime. There are many old farm implements in the barn and the flowers were plentiful in the outside sitting area on a balcony. I loved the original wood beams in the dining room. I truly felt like a valued guest visiting friends.

Room Tip: All are good.
