Loved that place: fresh food, everything made in house. The crabs were melting they were so fresh. Service was excellent and very friendly, the place was so affordable. Highly recommended!

We stopped for a lesson in Gullah Cuisine and received one. The low country boil made us happy and full. Frogmere stew was plan and classic. The corn was delicious and peel n eat shrimp perfect. The sausage and potatoes plentiful with cocktail sauce and garlic butter on the side. Hush puppies and apple cobbler were a real extra treat.

Awesome Gullah food. Had the chicken... fall of the bone and the meat loaf...mmm. The two kinds of rice was relish. Loads of food reasonably priced. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly, and the food was different but good. Some of it didn’t seem so fresh, though. They were sort of busy but it’s a small place, so it’s easy to get that way. They forgot the order of someone I was with, but realized it and got his food out. It was a neat experience to try something new, because I love classic southern food and it was nice to try something from it’s roots. I loved the corn bread! I ordered fried chicken, Mac and and cheese, and okra and tomatoes- with some banana pudding. My husband felt that it was priced too high for what it was.
