Stopped off on the way back to Swindon, travelling from Dorset. Turned off as we saw a sign for the Bell Inn, and wanted a cold drink after driving on a hot day. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and welcomed us before asking what we would like to drink, which was reasonably priced for a pub. However, a few locals sit at the bar, which if it wasn't for them the atmosphere in the pub would be non-existent. An okay place to stop, but somewhere that I would not want to visit regularly. Typical decor, with smell of smoke wafting in through the garden where the locals sit.

Popped in for a drink a week previous and ended up booking a table for me and 5 friends for the following Sunday.
Did not disappoint! Incredible roast dinner with all the trimmings! Staff are friendly and efficient, would highly recommend!

Had a lovely Sunday Roast. Just right you couldn't beat it. Lovely walks nearby. Plenty of beautiful countryside nearby.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast here. Stopped on a whim and the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and really well priced. The chef came out as well, and was very friendly, meeting people and checking things were alright with everyone. Really nice lunch out and very pleased we happened upon it.
