Clean room, warm (hot water), noise from the area. Don’t stay in the downtown. The Melacon was a joke! They did have night security which was required and was very attentive. If you Have to stay in downtown this probably is the best you can get.

I travel through San Felipe going back and forth to Baja from US. I often have to stay over in San Felipe and I was happy to stumble on this hotel. Good location near restaurants and tourist area of town. Clean. Good service. I didn't see ground floor rooms, so you might want to confirm if you have to be on ground level.

This ain't Ritz Carlton but the place is clean, reasonable rates, comfortable beds and everything in the room were in good working condition including the wifi. The staff were friendly and helpful --- I had some minor issue in my room and they quickly took care of it. They also take credit card payments. Located just a block away from the Malecon which is convenient for souvenir shopping and choices of places to eat. And if you want a break or variation from the typical local food, this hotel have an Italian restaurant. Rooms 1 to 6 are located at the second floor above the restaurant and have some view to the street --- but note that the restaurant have a live band that plays at night. Other rooms are at the street level. I don't mind staying here again as a place to sleep and a base to explore San Felipe.

Don't break the rules; 20 items in English and Spanish laminated next to the light. for example; no food or drinks in room, cant brink your extra muchachas into your room.etc.
We skipped the continental breakfast, a paucity offering.$ 100 pesos deposit for the remote and key. Make sure you count your change .Restaurant below our room was closed, Car security was good, Hotel easy to find. Two floors up stairs to reception area, no alternative.
Not a romantic stay.

Room Tip: If you cant climb two sets of stairs dont do this hotel

Hey, its nothing fancy, but it's fine for a stop over. Has off street parking which was what we needed. We could park our van right in front of the room. Supposedly there is a night watchman, we did see him, so we felt somewhat secure with our van right by the room. The room was nothing to write home about, but it was clean and the shower was spacious and lots of water pressure. All in all, a pleasant break from being on the road in Baja, good place to regroup before crossing the border. Staff was friendly and nice, and the room comes with a free margarita at the bar, so it's a win win situation!
