I love how the resort is divided into multiple buildings up a mountain. All, therefore, have excellent views. they provide transportation up and down and also provide sidewalks for safe walking. In advance, I didn't understand that the beach was just a short walk or ride away or that this was the usual eating spot. The beach was clean and not overcrowded. We walked it each day.
The food was ok. Not bad, but nothing special. the restaurant on the mountain is reservation only for dinner and has a dress code. We ate there twice and, again, ok...not bad, but nothing special. I felt like most meals in the main dining area included leftovers, which seems unfair in view of the all-inclusive fee. On the other hand, I was delighted to find a variety of fresh fruits at each meal as well as vegetables that were surprisingly well cooked (by which I mean NOT overcooked).
The room: we liked it a lot, except for the noise of the air handling system. Of course, we appreciated that system, too! One note: they called the huge tub a hot tub. I would call it a garden tub.
Only real gripe: no kayaks, sailing boats, any sort of water toys included as part of all inclusive.
All in all, it was a great place to go.More
