The manager Tadeo makes sure that your day out is the best he and his crew can
show you. There is no detail over looked. Excellent service and great fun. The Captian ( Alex and his son gave us a great time . We returned with 9 small tuna ,6 Dorado and 1 Black Marlin 295lbs. Highly recommended.

Hello,

Thanks for your Review. It is very important to us. We are a bit behind in replying all the Reviews we've got, but here we are. It's never too late.

We perfectly remember that day as Black Marlin is the most difficult Billfish to catch in Mazatlan. Much more common are Striped Marlin and Blue Marlin. Even Swordfish is more common than Black Marlin in our waters. It was something very special!

We look forward to your next trip with us.

Best Regards,
Tadeo Hernandez K.

The 'summer' pricing advertised on their website attracted me to their boats. They will soon have all the boats at the newer marina but right now they have their 1970's boats at the old marina. We fished on the 42' Paty C.

Friendly staff, Tadeo and Alex Sr, Alex Jr. picked us up at the hotel promptly in the early morning as promised. They started out with 3-4 lines and then increased it to 6 lines when we got out further. Some with live bait, some plastic.

The old boat is slow and a bit noisy, but plenty of room, shade and no problems with waves. I was fine with the box lunch from Oxxo but my wife is a bit pickier so it was good we brought some peanuts and other snacks.

We caught a 12" fish that they strung up for bait and saw turtles, a sting ray and three dolphins that raced the boat as we returned with the 10'1" 238# marlin.

We were going to catch and release but at about 100 yards out the stomach of the marlin came out thus killing the fish. The crew was going to smoke the marlin. Business is slow, we saw only one other boat fishing in the deep water.

They took pictures of us with the marlin, the crew was excited with the gift. We were on the boat by 6:15 AM and got off the boat promptly by 2:30 PM.

Hello Amigo,

Thanks for your comprehensive Review. It is very important to us. We are a bit behind in replying all the reviews we've got, but here we are. It's never too late.

Since your last trip with us, we did move the boats to the new Marina where our main office has been since 2007. That was actually one of the last trips in the Lighthouse Marina where we were located for several decades.

We have a larger offer of boats at the new marina and our general operation has been upgraded since then (even the box lunches changed!).

We look forward to your next time in Mazatlan.

Best Regards,
Tadeo Hernandez K.
