Description: Teatro Limón is Puerto Vallarta's finest interactive dining experience. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing meal or take part in the creation and enjoyment of a gourmet meal designed by (or with) talented Canadian Chef, Bruce Byng. You find no boring fixed menu here, Teatro Limon's innovative plates constantly changing. And while Bruce continually strives to come up with exciting new approaches to beloved classics, he is unwavering in his insistence on premium quality and absolute freshness. Be as involved as you want. Or, Opt to sit back and soak in the good things that come to you in the cheery torch-lit terrace under the stars. Or, make yourself comfortable in the open kitchen and be part of the action. Every cocktail imaginable comes out of the fully stocked bar just the way you like it and wine pairings are suggested, with several vintages available by the glass. All in all, an evening at Teatro Limón is an unforgettable and yes, somewhat theatrical experience, ideal for sharing with family, a group of friends or that special someone. “Very enjoyable on all counts: food, wine, atmosphere and chef interaction”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

I'd heard this place was hard to find; good thing we took a taxi! It's tucked away in on a neighborhood back street, far from the madding crowds of the Boardwalk. The dinner we had here was wonderful. No menu, just what Chef Bruce prepares on any given day. We had let the restaurant know that two people in our party had gluten and dairy intolerances and, with the exception of dessert (which was just some fruit in a Grand Marnier sauce vs. something extraordinary like a flourless dark chocolate cake), Teatro Limon did a SUPERB job giving a gourmet experience to every single member of our dining party.

We started with a tomato/basil soup (cream of cauliflower for those who could have dairy), then moved onto a wonderful Mediterranean salad, followed by a course of spicy shrimp, and main dishes that included three different meats (bison, steak and lamb) in delicious sauces. Dessert was creme brulee (nicely done) or fruit in martini glass (Bruce's wife apologized for that - seems they hadn't communicated on the dessert front). Bruce also chose a lovely bottle of wine for us and was very personable.

All in all, a delightful meal and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Bravo, Teatro Limon! We will definitely be back. :)

“Perfect Balance of Feasting and Fun”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

There is not much more I can add to the great reviews of Bruce's and Julia's Teatro Limon, it is everything described and then some.... After a couple years and three lengthy meals, we feel like family. As others have mentioned, not so much dinner, but a dining experience where you get to eat well, learn how to properly sear a bufalo medallion, sample from the grill, poke fun at Bruce, and get ten times back.... The food is interesting and exquisite and just plain fun to be there. We attached some recent photos, this place should not be missed when you are enjoying the sun in PV.

“AMAZING”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

This was some of the best food i have had in my entire life. Not only was the food customized to my picky tastes, but was done exceptionally well by an interactive and entertaining chef! I am a vegetarian and Bruce accommodated to this without a single hesitation and even created, yes, created a dish for me!

“Great Experience”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

My partner took me to Teatro Limon for my birthday. I am a long time foodie. You need to get a taxi there because it is out of the way in Distrito Aramara. Service was great. Food was terrific. The best tomato soup I have ever had! And I can truly rave about their tropical fruit cheese cake - very light. Just right after a long meal. And they let you come up to the kitchen to see how they make the food. Everyone seemed to talk to everyone else. A very friendly and warm atmosphere. We will go again. Caveat: It isn't cheap, but a good value for the food plus the overall experience. Most people did not dress up.

“Best meal and service I've had in PV ever!!”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

My wife and I have been coming to PV for 13 years and tried Teatro Limon for the first time this year. We liked it so much we went twice on our vacation. There is no menu, but Cheif Bruce will create the perfect meal for everyone at the table, even the kids! Make sure you are hungry and have a couple hours for dinner, and you will have a great experience!
